It's time for another update! We've added the ability for Kronii to sprint by holding Dash, tweaked Haste physics to feel more responsive, and made a few other bugfixes and tweaks. Thank you for your continued feedback and reports!
General
- Added a bootup signal that should prevent softlocks on the language selection screen on certain hardware.
- Dropping down from the sloped platforms in Battleship Aquamarine should be more consistent now.
- Adjusted level design in the underground area of Bell Town to reduce risk of players getting stuck inside terrain, and to make it more apparent that backtracking is not the solution to the puzzle.
Kronii
- Holding the Dash button will now have Kronii dash indefinitely, with her animation changing to a sprint. If she falls off a ledge while sprinting, she will continue to sprint upon landing as long as Dash continues to be held.
- When in Haste, max running speed has been slightly decreased, dash speed has been slightly increased, and dash acceleration has been significantly increased. Additionally, air acceleration is slightly decreased when in Haste.
- Values have been swapped such that air drag is less when holding forward, rather than when not holding anything.
- While in Kroniicopter, Kronii will slow down much faster when not holding a direction.
- Fixed an issue where time powers would not activate if the button was pressed while in hitstop (whether from landing an attack on an enemy or getting hit by an attack).
- Fixed some minor issues where time power inputs would be ignored if the player pressed them on the exact same frame as certain other actions.
- Fixed an issue where the jump input would be ignored if the dash ended on the same frame.
- Fixed an issue where the jump input would be ignored when pressing the button and landing on the ground in the same frame.
- Dashing under Haste has a new audio and visual effect.
- The amount of vertical speed gained when bouncing off a wall via dash or Drill Dash has been increased from 100 to 250. This should make it easier to reach ledges when Kronii would otherwise barely miss them.
