Patch 1.1 is out now, and it includes minor things and some bug fixes: - Added a new info tab with information about the radio - Star view sensitivity moves strange depending on how many FPS you had (you may need to change it on the pause menu once you get in again because it will have the previous data saved and it may act weird) - Some shadows may flicker when you pass by - Some objects disappear when you look at specific points

Distant Lands: Earendel is now available! Spoiler warning, this is all the content available in version 1.0:
--- The Telescope
Upgrading the telescope will unlock new unique stars that will not only give you more money (or less, each star gives money within a range of numbers) but also have unique properties:
The Pearl Star: The basic one, does nothing
The Sapphire Star: Blinks a little and requires 3 shots to be hidden
The Emerald Star: Moves to a new spot every time you shoot
The Amethyst Star: Comes with a storm, blinks, and requires 10 shots
The Topaz Star: Shy, appears every now and then and moves after each shot
The ??????? Star: Seems like this star does nothing...
The Ruby Star: Even shyer than the Topaz Star and comes with a storm
The Void Star: Something goes wrong when you shoot this star
The Satellite Star: Has a friend that might block some of your shots
The Sunny Star: Has a very bright friend and a very shy core
The Museum Star: Dear traveler, time to learn your history
The Hidden Star: Has a friend that tries to distract us...
The WTF Star: Has another friend... where is it?
The ??? Star: You did it.
The ...- Star: Seems to emit a sound...
--- The Tower
The communication tower requires resources and upgrades to bring you the latest features. Each level will unlock something that is sometimes useful, sometimes curious, and sometimes a waste of money.
Level 1: Village and Notes
Level 2: Experience Orbs
Level 3: Anialms
Level 4: Videos and Map
Level 5: Music Player
Level 6: Furniture and Miscellaneous
Level???: ???
--- Village
The village is a feature unlocked through the tower that will allow you to invest in passive income (money per second). This way, when you explore, you wont feel like you're losing money.
Among the buildings you will unlock are houses, towers, or other structures.
Inside some of these structures, you may find surprises.
There are a total of 24 structures to unlock!
--- Experience Orbs
Small orbs have appeared around the world that will give you experience when you explore. This way, you can progress indirectly in your mission while exploring.
The level system in Distant Lands: Earendel is very simple: your level number will be multiplied by the money received from each star, so it's best to level up as soon as possible to advance faster in your mission!
--- Anialms
Anialms are small cards that showcase fantastic animals, random moments, personal fears, future predictions, secret hints...
They are obtained through the Anialm Gacha and legendary Anialms have a 1% chance of appearing in each draw. There are other ranks like Epic, Rare, etc., which you can identify by the sound when drawing.
Currently, there are 60 Anialms, but maybe there will be an extra expansion in the future.
--- Music
Through a music player, you can listen to two full albums from the best artist to come out of The City. Controversial to some for the poor quality of his music but praised by others for exactly the same reason.
Lilac Fireflies
1- Under the Milestone
2- Missin' Ya
3- Sweet Nights
4- Lilac Fireflies
5- Bad Times
6- Lonely in a Lonely Forest
7- Light of Morning
The 19 Boy
1- Nineteen
2- Spikes
3- Train is Passing By
4- Nonsense Arrows
5- Stormy Cloud
6- Car Window
7- Nothing is the Same
8- Other Boys
--- Videos
A video player where you can not only find the videos you've already seen but also exclusive videos like the three chapters of Office Story, a series that became very popular in this world.
Take a look at the videos you've already watched because someone might have left a note in them, or maybe there are hidden passwords.
--- Furnitures
At the end of the game, you will unlock furniture, small accessories that might look familiar.
Along with them, youll find things like the Snake minigame made by someone special, a peculiar plushie... the collection will expand in future updates.
--- Exploration
Three main areas (The Starfield, The Town, and The City). To move between zones, a train with a fixed route will pass through all of them, and it will be your decision where to stop.
The Starfield:
The core of the game, where you will gradually upgrade your telescope, tower, and village with houses, towers, and buildings.
In this area, there is a long icy plain with giant towers that seem to emit a strange noise. It's your choice whether to venture in to see if theres something at the end of the zone.
Various notes and video tapes can be found in this area, as well as a clearing filled with money, bushes, and something... drawn?
Many secrets lie beneath the great tree in this area, and only you can uncover them.
The Town:
The oldest residential area, the first to be built alongside several... strange buildings.
The Library: Test your athletic skills and, with the help of blocks, reach a valuable trophy on the rooftop.
The Containers: A system where, with four digits, you can open the door to one of the containers. Some of these passwords will be given through not-so-hidden signs, others by intuition, others by secrets in video tapes, and even some through celestial signals...
The City:
How can a city be so crazy and loud? Colorful and saturated with buildings of peculiar shapes, towers that seem to generate some kind of gas, giant lamps that blind you when you look at them...
But... theres no one. Just posters that seem to advertise a farewell show.
Maybe, just maybe, at the center of the city, there is a room capable of altering space-time. But only maybe.
--- Trophies
For collectors who want to get 100% completion, there are 10 trophies scattered around the world that youll have to find to earn all the Steam achievements. Some are easy to spot, while others are more hiddenlets see how long you last looking for them!
--- Story
For some reason, people have abandoned the Town and the City, your parents leave you notes and video tapes everywhere, and you have to shoot stars to earn money. Something strange is happening here...
The story of Distant Lands: Earendel is divided into two parts: the general story, where youll learn more about your mission and the worlds context by progressing through telescope levels, and the personal story, where youll learn more about your family and surroundings by exploring the world and deciphering container passwords.
When you get tired of the telescope, go for a walk and uncover more about your story!
--- Future
Distant Lands: Earendel is an expandable game through new stories and features. New content for version 2.0 is already in development and will likely arrive later this year. This content will be a continuation, so completing the base game will be necessary. I hope you enjoy this adventuresee you soon!

Distant Lands: Earendel is a First Person Clicker with a world to explore and a story to discover.
Based on a future world where a strange and undefined disaster took place, we are chosen for unknown reasons to complete the mission of "hiding" stars, cleaning the astral view to watch further and discover new and random stars. You'll have to unveil why we shoot stars, why are we chosen and why everything looks so undefined. Hide stars to obtain money, and spend it on building a village, collect Anialms, and unlock new features. Explore places like The Town or The City to read notes and watch shortfilms someone left behind to understand your roots and the history of the world.
All the models, music, cutscenes, animations, programming & story are made by me. It's been a long and hardworking journey to make a world where everything connects and everything makes sense at the end. This game was inspired mainly by Outer Wilds, even though it's very different, its way to tell the story mixed with the freedom you have to discover it was the first stone of Distant Lands: Earendel.
Its core gameplay is based on the 3Dfication of the typical clickers. Get money, buy something that gives you more money, and spend that money to unlock new functions. A simple but fun way to discover new stars, every star has its own peculiar thing. Sometimes you just have to click it 10 times, sometimes it moves, sometimes it has other stars around it...
The Village System where you obtain passive money is made to incentivize the exploration and not to feel like you're losing money if you go to walk. You can also encounter Experience Orbs and Money around. The Experience system works so that the level you currently are, multiplies with the money a star gives. If a star gives you 2$ and you're level 3, you will obtain 6$
The art of the game is very basic, if you play you will understand why, but I also wanted to make a template where I could create things without the need of them to be realistic. Playing around plain textures makes the imagination create all what's needed for our minds to understand what you're looking at.
I don't want to spoil anything about the story but just know I worked really hard for everything to make sense. The way the story it's told is multiple, and by that I mean it's not just notes and static reading. Didn't want to spoil anything on the trailer neither so you'll have to trust me when I say it's not boring at all, I worked so hard to avoid long and boring notes but at the same time tell the story the best way possible.
My intention is to follow the Distant Lands series and make more games within this universe. So many stories are still waiting to be told and game design has many ways to innovate and be fun to play.
