Hey everyone! Weve just released a brand new version of the Toni Island Adventure demo and its packed with exciting updates! The game now runs on a Godot-based engine, which significantly reduces file size and should offer better performance on PC. This update also expands your journey beyond the Pawssport checkpoint you'll now be able to explore Pomodorino Woods and venture up to Mt. Stracciatella, home of the mysterious Oracle. Back in Bauport, a new building has appeared: the Community Museum, ready to be filled with the rarest gems and fish you can find later in game. And yes, the PawPhone is now fully functional, so you can make calls a feature previously unavailable! Weve also addressed various bugs, fixed typos, and added small improvements throughout the game. • New Language Option Hola Guau-migos!: You can now experience Toni's adventure in Spanish (LATAM)!
• Improved Exploration Paw-tographers at work: Our canine cartographers had a ruff time re-mapping the island! Check out the new and improved map in your PawPhones map app next time you explore.
• Gameplay Enhancements What does this button do?: Buttons in dungeons now have clearer sprites to make them more understandable. New HUD and Stats Screen: Weve given our HUD and stats screen a fresh coat of paint with some cosmetic updates!
• Bug Fixes & Adjustments Typos: Weve tackled those pesky typos in the English language version. If you spot any remaining issues, let us know at help@frolicstudio.fun! Pesky Bugs: Fixed a bug where players wouldnt fall into holes if they had exactly 1 HP remaining.

• Adjustments in the Ancient Ruins of BauBau: It is no longer possible to get stuck, either accidentally or intentionally, on the rocks.
• Reset of 'sokoban' puzzles: Now, when pressing 'start', the player will return to the beginning of the challenge.
• NPC in the Ruins: The lost NPC now provides clear explanations on how to reset the puzzles if the player gets stuck.
• Improved inventory performance: Considerable reduction in response time, providing a smoother experience.
• Correction of typos: Minor errors have been fixed to improve text clarity.

Language Download Issue Resolved

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the recent issue where the Portuguese version of the game was incorrectly downloaded as the default for all players. This has now been resolved, and the English version will be downloaded by default. If you have already downloaded the game, please right-click on Toni Island Adventure DEMO in your Steam Library > Manage > General, and change the language to English.

Patch v1.0.3 notes

• Fixed a bug that made the keyboard irresponsive if the caps lock key was active
• Fixed a bug that made Toni's sprite invisible by The Ancient Ruins of BauBau entrance, at night
• The amount of BUCKS is now being shown in the correct place in the Stats window
• Falling down a hole will now make Toni faint if he has 1HP or less

Toni Island Adventure's free demo version was launched this Thursday (09/27) and will be playable on Steam until November 10th. Explore the first minutes of our pizza-eater canine hero's journey, but don't forget to make room for the full feast coming in Q1 2025! We're thrilled and excited to be able to share a small piece of what we've been cooking until now. Please feel free to tell us what you think about the game, share suggestions, and report any bugs/errors you may eventually encounter during your playtime through the form found at the end of the game's main menu.
