Final Early Access Update, Changes & Plans

I\'ve started production for the next update of Kollectomaniac. \n\nThe original plan was to release two updates before exiting early access; however, I\'ve decided to merge these two updates into one. \n\nNo content will be lost due to the merge; the only reason for it is that many features need to coexist and would be more complex to create separately. \n\nWhat can you expect to be added in this update?

[u]In summary, more areas to explore, more story, more endings, more characters, more content.\nBut here\'s everything I\'m willing to share about it currently:[/u]

• Bus travelling, new areas to explore with more puzzles, minigames, and unique ways to earn cents. New areas will include everything from caving to fishing to repairing. It will also add a much-needed story element and deeper lore to the game.

• New interaction at the log! The buying and selling portion will include dialogue, choices, and characters, making each day more eventful and fun! These new interactions consist of: \n[u]Special offers, Conversation, Risk-Reward Choices, or maybe a Walker wants to share a drawing with you![/u]

• Quests! The game will provide you with goals to achieve, both to help you find direction and to earn rewards.

• Updated Ui, improved settings menu, better loading screens and more!

• More Endings, with cutscenes

• Story Mode and Endless Mode: Story mode will be driven by your choices, although you can still lose in the same ways. Story mode is more consistent with quests, tasks from your Landlord and multiple endings. Endless mode, just like the current versions of Kollectomaniac, has no end, with the current goal being how long you can survive. Kollectomaniac will also randomise quests and exclude certain story mode tasks.

• Dlarlnod\'s Log of Log Survival: The game\'s iconic guidebook will get a major update, making sure to include achievements and information about new features and areas.\n\nAnd so much more planned!

When will this update be released?

This update will be the largest one yet, making it hard for me to give an exact time.\nThe planned launch is Q2 2026. However, there\'s a good chance it will be launched slightly later in Q3 2026. \n\nWhat will support on Kollectomaniac look like after early access?

I will continue patching any reported bugs.\nWhen it comes to actual content, it will depend on the game\'s popularity. \nMost likely, I will move on to other projects, but if there\'s enough demand, I would definitely come back with small content updates, translation updates, and possibly ports to console or mobile.\n\nWhat if I still have more questions?\nReach out to me on the official Kollectomaniac Discord, or in the comments of this post.\n\nThank you all so much for your patience and support,\nSincerely Akmac
