Another Carrotour Demo patch note! Recently Unity announced that there is a security vulnerability in some Unity engine versions. Although there is no evidence that the vulnerability has been exploited, devs should still take action if they are using one of the versions affected by this vulnerability. So, in this update, we switched our engine version to a new one that no longer has the said vulnerability. Yay!!! Problem solved!!!

Besides, we also added a new feature: you can now press backspace to restart the level. And if you want to rebind it to another key, you can do it in Options (on the main menu)!

We updated Carrotour Demo again! This time, we made the boss fight significantly easier (again). Although we try to make it clear that it is not necessary to beat all levels, we understand that letting the first boss fight be too tricky is a bad design which can lead to players getting frustrated and abandoning all other unplayed levels. We don\'t want this to happen, especially when our game focuses on puzzles, and the boss fights are only a small portion of our game. So we adjusted the difficulty of the boss fight.

Besides the difficulty change, we also improved other details of the game, such as the background of the handbook.

Do you know you can still play with the old boss difficulty by holding H before entering the boss fight? Don\'t tell anyone...!!

Another patch for Carrotour Demo! We fixed a bug that caused the game to fail to get a level\'s ID (sorry if you ran into it). Besides that, we also added new animations! Moreover, uncompleted levels and levels with only 1 or 2 stars are now highlighted, so you can see them more easily!

Hello guys! Sorry we've been quiet for quite some time. We were a little bit busy. Anyways, we have updated Carrotour Demo yet again!

In this update, we added more animations and effects, as well as smooth transitions between different scenes. We also made our own cute little mouse cursor. The game is a lot more polished now, and it should look way better than before. Besides that, we also adjusted some levels to improve your experience when playing them. As for the full version, it is almost completed. We plan to playtest it a little bit more, and market it better. We promise Carrotour will come out in 2025, so stay tuned!

Full game progress update:
We have finished making all levels that will be in the full game when it's released. The game is about 87% done, but we do still have something to work on, such as editing the last boss fight, adjusting how levels are unlocked, etc. Also, we need to do some marketing... so if you are reading this, go tell your friends about Carrotour!!!!!!!!! • Wrong BGM volume in 1-0
• Smart Movement sometimes prevented the player from clicking undo
• Sometimes the player sprite incorrectly became transparent
