Alive contains over 6000 images, over a hundred animations, and a carefully selected soundtrack to enhance the experience along with multiple paths that make the story of each playthrough different.

Alive is a story of romance, drama, and maybe even betrayal. As you meet the characters and are introduced to the world, Erin's ex threatens everything. What does he want, and how will it end? That's up to you. And maybe you'll even have a little fun along the way.....

But what's a good story without a little bit of fun? Alive asks the simple question - what would you do, to feel Alive?
Hey all. I wanted to take a moment to reach out to everyone on Steam, since I have talked about this a bit on other platforms!
Back when I first announced NSL, I also mentioned a potential Alive Remake! Unfortunately due to a number of life events, it got delayed a little bit, but it is fully underway. Currently it\'s expected to be completed some time in 2026. (No exact ETA yet - that\'ll come when it\'s a bit closer to completion).
I wanted to give a bit of heads up and info on the remake before the new year though, so let\'s dig into it!
First, new story content. A number of sections have been re-written, and a number of new scenes added. I won\'t go into detail about them, you\'ll have to wait and see - but the actual story won\'t be changing. Instead a number of things will be expanded upon - as well as a few things that got cut for time during the initial release will find their ways in. Overall I expect about a 20-30% increase in overall content, but that is a ballpark estimate at this time.
The UI is going to get a bit of love, and there will be a bunch of behind the scenes coding changes as well. For example the phone system will be updated, along with a number of other things in-game. Some of these you\'ll see pretty clearly - others will be under the hood changes - Mostly designed to make the gameplay a bit smoother.
The music is unlikely to change much - I considered it, but ultimately I decided I\'d like to leave the vast majority intact. The bulk of changes in that department will be centered around new content being added.
And of course, there\'s the visual aspect. The visuals for the entire game are being reworked, top to bottom.
So that\'s the state of things with Alive! As mentioned, the remake is expected in 2026, but no ETA beyond that is available right now. Currently the plan is to fully retire the old build once the remake is completed, but there will be more info on that as we get closer to completion.
Finally, I\'ll leave you with a few before and after images. The first few here are what currently exists in-game - the second batch are the reworks of those same images. I\'ll see you all next year - until then, happy gaming!

Announcing - No Such Luck!

Hey all! A few announcements I wanted to make. First up - A new game! No Such Luck will release in Early Access in February. Next up: Alive!
Remaster!
That's right - a full remaster of Alive is coming. This will include a full graphical rework of the game, some improved functionality, as well as... that's right, new content! I'm not going to go into too much detail on the new content just yet - we're too early in the process for that, I'll have more details closer to release. In the meantime a full remaster of Alive is now underway! Unfortunately this will take time - my priority is on the new game (No Such Luck) so the remaster is something that is going to be done slowly over time. The entire process will likely take a year or so - but once it's completed, the game will receive a nice new coat of paint, and some new content to go with it!

I don't have an ETA on any of the Alive remaster work yet, as mentioned it will take a while, but in the meantime feel free to check out No Such Luck!
Today the walkthrough DLC for Alive is available for purchase. The DLC acts as a mod for the game. When first installed, you'll get a brief description of how it works (This will only show the first time the DLC is installed).
Once you've installed the DLC you can check your options menu and you should see this:
This lets you swap between the Full walkthrough, Basic mode, and turning it off entirely.
At the top right of your screen you'll see "Achievement Guide". Opening it up, and you should see this:
(Note: Text is blurred here to avoid spoilers, it's obviously not so in-game.)
Not every achievement is listed, but the more difficult ones provide a step by step guide on how to get them. This also in many cases doubles as an ending guide - as many endings have associated achievements.

When playing with the full walkthrough mode on, you'll have screen popups at or before most choices, like this:
When playing with only Basic mode, the screen popup will not appear, but the color coding of the choices will. Generally green is good, red is bad.
Note: Not all choices are color-coded. This happens in one of two occasions: #1 The choice is entirely flavor based, and only causes slightly different dialogue in scene. It has no other effect.
#2 The choice is an important one, that causes a distinct story branch. Because the choices are neither "good" nor "Bad" but simply cause the story to branch in different ways, they are not color coded - HOWEVER if you turn on the full walkthrough mode, you will still be able to see an explanation of what outcomes may occur as a result of either choice.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Full walkthrough mode is *extremely* spoiler heavy, and is not recommended for first time playthroughs. There are pretty heavy spoilers, even right from the very beginning.
Playing with Full walkthrough mode on, plus the associated achievement guide however, should enable you to get every possible ending, as well as every achievement - particularly the more difficult ones! Enjoy!
