Like most elven kin of the realms above, dark elves are shorter, more slender, and less robust than humans. For the first half-century of life, they might be mistaken for their surface cousins, were it not for the subtle gleam of their eyes and the hue of their skin.
\nThe differences grow more pronounced as they near their hundredth yearthe age when a dark elf is considered fully adult and ready for baptism. During this time, a maidens curves swell and take on a fullness both graceful and deliberate, a clear testament to the Goddesss favour. Those who shun the Path of Perpetual Pleasure will carry this form through the centuries, unchanged. For those who ascend to priesthood, however, it is only the beginning.
\nThe Ordeal offers more than the dual gifts of gender; it transforms the elf into a vessel of divine purpose. With the Goddesss blessing, a priestess can sway minds, shape bodies, and enact miracles in accordance with her sacred creed. Those who serve with devotion and indulgence are granted ever greater favour, their forms and powers blossoming in tandem.
\nAs she rises through the ranks, a priestess grows not only in stature but in presence, her body curving and twisting into ever more extraordinary proportions. By the time she attains the rank of matron, she towers above her peers, thrice as endowed as any mortal, her every contour no longer simply admired but revered, a living testament to divinity made (very abundant) flesh.
