Alpha 17 Release
The latest update is here! Continue to hunt down Apocalypse and infiltrate a doomsday cult!
Now that you've witnessed the destructive power of Apocalypse first-hand, it's time to take up arms! The thing is, no one really knows where Apocalypse is... so it's up to you to track him down. A member of a mysterious cult has been captured, and is being held in the Solus Valley Jail. It'll take some intimidation to get anything out of this guy, but for now, he's your only hint. And who knows? Maybe this lead will take you right to Apocalypse...
Deck your party out with the latest additions to the game; you'll need to use everything you can get your hands on to take down your latest foes. New additions include the Stone Dragon Horns, a mystical artifact that bolsters your critical hits and fire/earth damage. There's also Twilight, a huge greatsword that has the highest base ATK stat in the entire game! Or you could even experiment with Ritual Residue, a new item upgrader that increases outgoing dark damage. As your arsenal continues to grow, the choice is yours!
Alongside the additions, there's a ton of quality-of-life changes and graphical improvements. Battles have received a makeover, and various parts of the game have spruced up. The gameplay is smoother than ever!
The Trail is getting closer to beta! It's certainly a fleshed out singleplayer game, with tons to do all across the Overworld. Imagine if you could take your friends along for the ride! Hah, multiplayer, that's crazy... right? All we can tell you is that within Alpha 18, the party will be facing their most dangerous challenges yet. What lays within the vast wasteland? The Trail is an homage to classic RPGs, with some new twists. Explore the world, uncover mysteries, hone your skills, and look good doing it! Do you have what it takes to break the ancient cycle and stop Apocalypse?
See The Sights.
The Overworld is vast, featuring 200+ unique maps filled to the brim with content and secrets. You can hunt for the rarest accessories, fill up your quest journal, and defeat the strongest of bosses! There are over 500+ items, each with their own purpose... will you find them all?
Break The Cycle.
Apocalypse's return threatens to bring upon the end of the Overworld. As a member of the Champion Program, you'll encounter a diverse cast of characters: a bandit-turned-friend, a self-concious monarch, and even a guy who talks to cows. Many of them have recurring appearances throughout the game!
Save The World.
Battle a wide range of enemies in dynamic turn-based combat. Fighting is not just about selecting the default attack; it is about well-timed strikes, adapting to the enemy, and exploiting any weakness you can find. Each encounter is fast-paced by default, and if you're able to master certain strategies, nothing will stand in your way!
