In Plangman, you take on the role of a space pilot imprisoned in a dungeon of forgotten memories. Guess words to reconstruct your past, and use what you learn to rescue the girl you love and defeat the wizard who holds you both prisoner.
This Deluxe Edition of the game features extras such as an Epilogue, the Lost Levels, a two-player Challenge a Friend mode, and a text-based Level Editor.
Happy 2026! A new version of Plangman is now live. It includes the following changes:
Added a new Stats menu (under Extras) that displays the levels that you\'ve completed 100%, as well as your best completion time for each level. Note that the game previously didn\'t track this information, so the stats will only be available for games played in v2.6.8 and higher.\n\n[/img]
[/*]Added a new achievement for completing 100% of all the main levels.
Tip: If you\'d like to track your progress on a level, pause the game and look at the stats in the lower righthand corner.\n\n[/img]\n\nThere you\'ll see your current completion percentage, along with the number of tasks you\'ve completed out of the total possible (for example: \"66% (2/3) in 0:37\", which means you\'ve completed two of the three possible tasks for the current level). Guessing the mystery word counts as a single task, so if you only have one item left (for example, \"(2/3)\" or \"(3/4)\" or \"(17/18)\"), then you only need to complete the word and you\'ll get 100%. If not, then look around for something you might have missed (such as a bonus item hidden inside a blank block).

Added a new difficulty setting. The following modes are supported:
Easy: Stars provide +1 health, and star blocks randomly provide between +1 and +3 health. Running out of health causes you to respawn, but you have three chances to recover more health before the level is reset. This setting is ideal for young children or casual players.
[/*]Regular: Stars provide +1/2 health, and star blocks provide +1 health. Running out of health immediately resets the level. This is the default setting, and it should work well for most players.
[/*]Hard: Same as Regular, but guessing correct letters doesn\'t provide any health until you complete the mystery word (which provides +1 health). This setting requires you to more attentively manage your health, and is ideal for skilled players who are adept at deciphering the visual clues.
[/*]Impossible: Same as Hard, but there are no visual clues (except on the final two levels). WARNING: Playing in this mode may result in you chucking your controller out the window!
[/*][/*]Tweaked a couple levels to allow clever workarounds to avoid losing health, or to separate previously clustered bonus items.
[/*]Enjoy!
