Snyde and Haze\'s new skills now are instant instead of having to wait. They were always meant to be a way to wait your turn but still do something and we forgot to change the speed. \n\nVisuals updated as well for the chapter endings and openings as well.

We\'ve added a new battle mechanic where some of the Mystics are summoners and able to summon monsters. If you defeat one of their summons, they will just summon a new one to replace it. You have to defeat the summoner first before taking out their monsters. \n\nSo far, in just this one area, these Mystics can summon three different creatures. Nightmares, Hell Fires, and Ghouls. During the day, they summon less than at night. For instance, this fight at night would have two Nightmares that cannot be removed until the Mystic is defeated first. There are three Hell Fires and three Ghouls at night. So these fights can get intense fast if not handled just right.

Lowered the AGI of the Mystic Leader and the Mystic Fire Leader to speed up the fights and make the game play experience better.

First Episode of Phoenix Square Y:

There are 5 episodes of this show, and it\'s dedicated to the memory of Akira Toriyama.\n\nDragon Leaf is finished as well with 9 episodes, and Place with 4 episodes, the PC is starting to fill up with a lot of content to watch. Dragon Leaf alone can take up to 30 minutes to watch it all.

We\'ve updated the demo to add some new original music from Anthony Fusilier, as well as a new television you can find that will play the first episode of Place - The Soap Opera.

Dragon Leaf is a great little show that is inside of Dimensional Gates. Follow Jenny (death knight), Sara (mage), Fable (fighter), and Claire (cleric) on an adventure to bring back a Dragon Leaf to save the Kingdom of Falina from a terrible misunderstanding with the Dragon of Shamar. So far we have 10 episodes planned for this, but that might be expanding a bit more.

\nWe have also added televisions across Kanlin that play one episode of Places. If you can find all four of them, you can watch the show outside of the airship. Also we\'ve added a television in Jamonic before you get the airship that plays all CNS Sol News Network reels. We are getting ready to update the demo soon to reflect these changes. In the demo, there are two televisions that play the first two episodes of Places.

This is the first episode to give you an idea how the shows work on the PC. This is the soap opera that has been created to bring a whole Universe around you as you play. I am also looking into possibly adding some of the episodes of Places to random towns in Kanlin and Jamonic that have the technology to have TVs. \n\nI also show in this video that at the end of each episode, you can just watch the next one instead of going back to the PC and picking it. You have both options, but this makes watching the shows much more streamlined and easier to deal with. \n\nOnly two more months and Dimensional Gates is being released...

Knixer\'s Revenge, a brand new original table top game will be ready for the February release date. This is a fun new take on table top games like D&D, but has it own rules to play it. So far Knixer\'s Revenge is the only table top game that will be for the release date, but we plan on creating more of these games and placing them in Inns at night for you to play with NPCs and win prizes as well if you beat them. Each Dimension will have it\'s own version of a table top game with different rules and feel to them. Knixer\'s Revenge is an Earth based game from the year 2386. \n\nRight now, Knixer\'s Revenge if beaten will give you the Camping Gear as a prize. The Camping Gear is a Tribal Tent or Sleeping Bag that has Unlimited uses. No more buying Sleeping Bags and Tribal Tents if you win this awesome item. \n\nIn Knixer\'s Revenge, you play as four soldiers fleeing from a group named the Grilla that are causing genocide of their people. Running from them to find a safe place to live out their lives free from being hunted by the Grilla, you will be faced with choices of what to do in certain situations and then have to play out the consequences of those choices. Can you make it to the Halden Base before being caught, and how many lives can you save on the way?

For anyone that might have been worried Dimensional Gates will be one of those games that keeps pushing the release back, well the game is done. I finished the credits and New Game Plus as well as testing it all to make sure it works flawlessly, just the other day. The whole main storyline, alongside side jobs, and extras, are all done.

\nThe only thing I still have to work on is extras. Imminent Distress is still under construction, but I found a way to make it a true survivor, so it might take a bit longer. You will have food and water you have to collect and use to stay alive though. The only other things I need to work on is the battle system to make it better, and the shows and movies on the PC. Everything else is done.

The tutorial tomb still has a low Exp earned for the rats, but once you open up the Forest of Fayne, you can start grinding there. The Volcano at the end of Doller\'s chapter is one of the best places to grind if you want to get her and the Shadow Squad up to level 12 or higher easily. \n\nYeign\'s chapter still has no Exp earned for the creatures that leave Remains that can be exchanged for items, but outside of Navon and in the Mines, you can grind away.

I am trying to get the last bits of Dimensional Gates wrapped up now, but there is still polishing of the battle system and I want to add extras as well. But one of the reasons I am making this game is because I am disabled and have lived in isolation for the last 7 1/2 years. This game is my way of doing something for others when I can\'t in other ways stuck where I am. For the last year and a half I have been actually doing better and making this game wasn\'t too hard. About a week ago though I started getting sick again. Don\'t worry, I will be fine, but the pain makes it extremely hard for me to work on anything. The lack of sleep as well makes it next to impossible to concentrate on anything. This has forced me to just stop any production of the game for the last week. I should still be able to get things done in time for the February launch, but it might have to be an early access or just a beta of some kind while I expand the game later on. I wanted to release this as an alpha, but things have changed and I hope everyone understands. Thank you all for your understanding.

Dimensional Gates is having a Fan Art Contest!!

Not Allowed to Die Gaming Studios is having a fan art contest for any artwork that has to do with Dimensional Gates or Laurel\'s Day. The winners will have their artwork displayed in a special area in the PC on the airship, and will win the sequence needed to unlock the developer backdoor to the airship at the beginning of the game in Doller\'s House. \n\nThis artwork can be anything from the game; characters, scenes, towns, and NPCs. \n\nAll artwork should be submitted via email to [u]NotAllowedtoDieGamingStudio@yahoo.com[/u] to enter. Specifications for artwork:

\nOther Video Games Locations: There are several other video games that are fully playable on the PC in the airship cabin. Each of these games runs off its own personal save, item, and random battle generators to make sure they are not a part of the main game, but still fully playable, able to save, and have its own inventory without messing with the main game. If you die in one of these games, its takes you to the main title of them and doesnt end the main game at all. Because of this, I have actually for the first time created a separate OS inside of an OS. This causes the PC in the game to feel real and immersive.

Normal Mode vs Story Mode Normal mode has random encounters, hard boss fights, and the ability to open up the entire expansion to the storyline. Story mode there are no random encounters, no shopping, no side jobs, you cannot open the menu and instead only save, can save wherever, and the expansion to the storyline that unlocks Cerabum and Rahmur are not available.

Night and day cycles Night and day can change how a town feels and what is open or closed. Shops being closed, and ready for robbing them, the Bars are open at night as well as the always open Inn. Dimensional Gates makes sure there are things to do at night in towns, like robbing stores and finding shady characters to sell you exclusive items or send you on side jobs.

Unique Environment for each dimension - Each dimension has several biomes and unique environments as well making them each feel like you traveled to another world.

Robbing stores Once you get Yosei, as a thief, he can rob any store with an open window at night, unless you unlock his final class. Walking up and just opening a chest isnt that exciting though, so sometimes you are attacked by the owner of the shop. In these fights, only Yosei is there to fight back forcing you to earn that stolen prize.

Working PC on Airship Not just fully working, but boots itself up every time you turn it on. With loading screens and beeps at the right time, the PC feels like it really is working. On the PC you have the options to:

• Read short stories Short stories you can read about the characters in the game and more. All written by the Dev David Listzwan, they can help to unravel some of the mysterious side jobs hidden in the game.

• News Reels Media directly from Earth that has no idea about these dimensions. Only the Shetman Corporation knows and is using these dimensions for personal gain. In these news reels, the anchor will go through the stages of the Shetman Corporation rising to power rapidly.

• Play video games Inside of Dimensional Gates video game, are other video games. Not small ones either. There are two other RPGs that when you beat them, they unlock powerful accessories for the main game. One being another direct RPG like Dimensional Gates, and the other in the style of having the monsters block your path and you have to fight them to move forward. No random encounters in that one.

• System Folder Another fun feature to the game, there are Vending Machines on the Airship that you can upgrade. In the System Folder you can do just that. Finding different discs spread out all over the dimensions, you can unlock powerful Shetman quality accessories and items.

Side Jobs Obviously extra things you can do in the game to earn rewards; side jobs are also something you need to do the right way. If you do something wrong, or too soon even, it can have dire results you will have to live with. Make sure to do all of your side jobs before moving forward, and do them right, or pay the consequences. Completing Side Jobs can lead to rewards of special reusable items, and even keys needed to unlock the secret at Poshi Cemetery.

NPCs Working and Playing For immersion purposes, towns have citizens doing their jobs, playing, and just relaxing and having a good time. Intricate details in their chores that go beyond other RPGs dedication to level of detail.

Image Changes As you change the armor on each character, their image will change according to that armor to add more immersion. Images only change on character and not text boxes.

Class Leveling Up Each time you level up a characters class, they level up their Max stats as well. Doller levels up her Intelligence and Wisdom, while Yeign his Attack and Defense. Magic also evolves to become more powerful and better control as each magic user levels up their class. There is no long list of spells that grows, instead they evolve and grow as their user does.

Instant Dimensional Travel Like youve seen in the trailer, you can travel to and from each dimension with the press of a button using the airship. However, you will have to find and bring back the dimensional crystals from Jamonic, Cerabum, and Rahmur to be able to travel to them with the airship. These dimensions can be traveled to using dimensional gates until then, but only if you unlock the airship in the connecting dimension.

The Shadow Squad Not just the saviors of Doller, the Shadow Squad are in fact your airship crew. Being a part of the story and stealing the airship for the Dimensional Travelers, the Shadow Squad will instill pride in your airship crew more than any other game has. The Commander guides them, but Symon and Syrah are the heart and soul of the Shadow Squad.

Fighting the Dimensional Beast Which dimension you fight the beast in is up to you. Once you are able to bring the airship to a dimension, you can fight the beast there. The more you unlock however, the better the outcome. The game doesnt end with the beast and you will have to live with whichever dimension takes the damage.

Thena Fantasy dimension that runs on basic and standard roll playing game logic. With the normal elves and humans using magic and other roll playing skills, Thena is the home of Doller, an apprentice Mage that just turned 24. With castles and fantasy tropes, Thena is full of side jobs, and lovable characters full of life.

Kanlin A science fiction dimension that has been under serious attack by mysterious creatures that use magic against them. Not having any magical skills themselves, the residents of Kanlin instead use technology to fight back against the odds. Its been two years since the Commander has shown up and helped to quell the invasion, but how much longer can they all hold out?

Jamonic Stolen by a corrupt Earth corporation, the natives of Jamonic have been forced into slavery for as long as they can remember. None of them even know of the vast empire their ancestors left behind after invaded by Earth. Can Yeign really bring his dimension back to its former glory and expel the evil Shetman?

Cerabum Literally based off the concept of Hell itself, the demons of Cerabum are what make up its landscape. Being underground, Cerabum has no night and day cycles, uses lava for light, and remains intensely hot all of the time. Without a reason for towns, Cerabum is a very hostile and unforgiving environment. Can the Dimensional Travelers stop Moria and her manipulative plans?

Rahmur A mysterious dimension that only those that are able to unlock it can find the greatest path before them. Can you figure it all out and stop the beast without causing any harm?

Earth - The year is 2386 and the Shetman Corporation rose to power from out of nowhere. Using resources no one on Earth has any idea where the Shetman Corporation is getting them from, the citizens are oblivious their own lives are at stake. Can the Dimensional Travelers stop the beast's hunger and greed? Can they stop the heinous plans the CEO has in place?

Dimensional Beast Only Dr. Nicolas Masio knows what the beast really is, but also knows there is only one real way to stop it as well. Destroying any dimension completely to nothing more than just the vacuum of space itself, the Dimensional Beast is a threat to unraveling the very fabric of the Universe and everything that holds it all together. Haze Smart and calculated brains of the Shadow Squad. Using a Sniper Rifle, Tools, and Thrown Explosives, Haze is a formable opponent for any enemy.



Glenn An Elf Ranger hermit that is oblivious to how Doller feels. Destined to help her defeat a terrible Lich that killed her parents, can Glenn still help her even though that same destiny has changed so much?



Saine Rival to Yeign, Saine is a worthy warrior as well that finds himself on the same path to try and save their people from slavery.
