New Features & Improvements

Dear players of DemonLord, With this Playtest update, we will be pausing further updates temporarily as we fully devote ourselves to preparing the upcoming demo release and official version content. We kindly ask for your understanding! Here are the details of the Version 0.3.0 update:

Experience Optimization:

1Improved cursor transparency display logic in two-player mode. 2Performance optimized to reduce lag in late-game stages. 3Difficulty indicators now show as "Corrosion Level" under Corrosion mode. 4Defense damage reduction and cooldown effects are now visually displayed. 5The day ends immediately after defeating a boss no more waiting time. 6Shortened settlement time at the end of each in-game day. 7Stage-clear text now adapts to the selected difficulty. 8The game will pause when a controller is plugged/unplugged or when switching to background. 9Emotes now have a built-in minimum cooldown to prevent crashes caused by rapid macro usage. 10Game now launches in windowed mode by default with second-tier resolution. 11Fixed lag issue when quickly switching description panels. 12Fixed a bug where bonus shadow damage was not being triggered correctly. 13Unlock pop-ups now display all newly unlocked content at once no more confirming one by one. 14Added a language selection screen when first launch.

Combat Adjustments

1Cooldown reduction is now calculated as n / (n + x). 2New Mechanic Swift Casting. When triggered, it randomly reduces the current cooldown of one skill by 10%.
3"Frost Armor" Adjustment:Trigger chance changed from [100%, 100%, 100%, 100%, 100%] to [20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%]. 4"Summoning Staff" Adjustment: Damage changed from [0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6] to [1, 1.3, 1.6, 1.9, 2.2]. Penetration changed from [1, 1, 1, 1, 1] to [2, 2, 2, 2, 2].

Art Optimization:

1Added new transition animations. 2Added new main menu interface. 3Added new general button animation effects. 4Adjusted artwork for minor enemies.
5Adjusted artwork for magic missiles.
