Hello everyone,

did you wonder if those Cantaloupe Nuggets from the game are actually edible? Here's a recipe for you to try yourself. Ingredients:

• A cantaloupe

• Blue sports drink

• Bread crumbs (or panko)

• Flour

• 1 Egg

• Confectioners sugar

• Oil

Preperation:

• Cut the cantaloupe and remove the skin

• Boil the sports drink in a pot and put the chunks in

• Wait for the chunks to get soft, but not falling apart either. The exact time depends on how hard and ripe the cantaloupe is. Took about 30min for me.

• Mix the egg

• Roll the melon chunks through the flour

• Put them in the egg in a separate bowl

• The roll them through the breading and press it so it sticks

• Heat up the oil in a deep pan or deep fryer

• Put the breaded nuggets inside for just a very short time until the breading turns brown

• Take them out and put the sugar all over it

You weren't able to put the nuggets in the box after taking a photo and couldn't proceed.

Hi Folks,

some more improvements and fixes for Cantaloupe Chronicle: (might contain mild spoilers)

• Added and option to the main menu settings to enable "simple fonts". That will replace the cursive font in the game with a much easier to read black on white font.

• Added a dialog hint for the flyer puzzle that you have to write the flyer text yourself. In addition you can't click on the notebook notes to add them to the flyer anymore.

• Fixed a bug with the radio lighting up by default

• When you take the picture of the nuggets the screen now automatically closes and you're back at the kitchen.

• Reduced train sound volume.

• Added a Mom hint that you have to copy the flyer

• Reduced frequency of idle animation of player character

• Improved clarity on some of Mom's hints

• When you're supposed to eat breakfest you won't get the "I'm not hungry right now" text from the fridge

after getting so much great feedback from watching streams of the game, I've prepared another update. :) Here's what changed:

Warning: Might contain mild spoilers

• You can now open the highscore from the arcade cabinet by pressing F1

• When you browser through dialog options while no dialog is active the options now don't show a rectangle around them, making it more clear that they are not interactable

• Added a hint that when you try to put the empty beer bottle in the pot that you should put it in the steam instead

• Made the door frame at home a brighter color so it's harder to miss

• Fixed an issue with some characters rotating around randomly over time

• Fixed and issue where you would get a hint to get more reed when it was not possible yet

• Added a hot spot to the tape recorder

• Fixed an issue where taking of sunglasses didn't work

• Some various smaller fixes and polishing

• You can now toggle the notebook with the middle mouse button

• Added more tips, reactions and Easter eggs

• Fixed a bug where you could make cantaloupe nuggets without the cantaloupe

I've just released the first update for the game: version 1.0.23. Here's a change-log (might include minor spoilers):

• Added a hint that you need to enter the kitchen with the chef inside on day2

• Removed rectangle around photo research item to make it clear that you don't add that to the article yourself

• Added a description text for the closed town hall when it opens the next day

• Added a hint when you try to toast the burger buns

• Disabled dialog option buttons and mouse-over effects while dialog is running

• Items can now always be used with left-click... right click is only for showing their description

• Added another mandatory mon hint that you can look at items with right-click

• Made some of mom's hints more clear

• Fixed an issue where mom's hint to cut reed came to early

• Fixed cars in town being too fast
