After additional testing i have discovered that the boss could get too hard at high levels. I have tried out a few changes and settled for higher direct hit damage from the balls and a more effective self destruction. The player will now get a greater reward for killing the boss (+1 skillpoint and +1 life, if not the boss part is the last brick on the level). I have also added icons displaying what bonus the players recently have picked up and what action the boss is doing. The bonus icon is mainly to help new players to discover what bonus actually killed them or made half the level explode.
A few new bricks have been added including the stun turret and charging bricks. Diamond levels have been updated and i have moved some code behind functions to make the game use less resurces.
Patch 2.8 contains a few ball upgrades including Hit Power and slow down near the city. I have also looked into how to reduce the loading time of the levels and added some glow to the balls and the City. The game levels will load faster and high end graphical settings demand more of the GPU (shaders).

MadCowBalls2 now have support for other languages than English! First out is Svenska, Dansk, Norsk, Italiano and Franais. A few things needed to change in order to make this possible and i have also updated some animations in the game.

Updating the Robot Player AI.
Im about the reuse the testing mode and stream the game as showcase 24/7 on Steam. The new game mode Cow Robot is unlocked after completing the Fire Cow achievement. The power up bonuses have been slightly changed to make it eaier for a new player with less bad power ups drops at lower difficulties. There is also an update on the particle system.
Patch 2.3 adds the ability to continue the last game instead of always starting a new one. I have also fixed an issue with the game launcher were it could get unresponsive.

I have added a selfplaying screeensaver. Start Screensaver installer to configure the application. At the end of the installer the Windows Screensaver option menu should launch (Tested in windows 10). The Screensaver is a build of 2.2.5 and it loads settings from the launcher including Music and Graphical Theme, Graphics settings, Graphical Interface settngs. It is using the setting "Cheat" and therefore High Score is disabled.

This is update number 10 since the release in November last year. Patch 2.0 add Steam Achievements and players who have tried the Demo or played an old version of the game may already have completed some of them (Check Cow Progress in the Launcher). I have given the city skyline, health meter and Cow effects some love. The level generator is also new and with it some bugs are gone. I have also lowered the speed of the balls further to make the games easier.
Adding support for Gamepad in launcher, tweaked the difficulty settings (ball speed) and added random helpfull tip on the loading screen.
Gamepad support is finaly ready. It is built to handle xbox, playstation and generic controllers but the menu and launcher is not complete. If you start the game in Arcade mode there is no need for keyboard or mouse. If you open the file MadCowBalls2.ini you can edit the keybindings, Autodetect(on/off), Sensitivity and Movement Acceleration level. I will add these options in the launcher later on.
The levels generated randomly now also include a secondary layer with bricks. This layer can active as a random bonus. There is also a possabilty of new secondary layers as a random bonus making it possible for a endless level (very unlikely but still possible).
I have been working on several content updates for the game. This patch includes two more Cow Progress Achievements, two more soundtracks and the Soundtrack Player. It may take a while but bosses will be added to the game later on. The soundtrack is free to downloaded as MP3 files at Itch.io. You can also watch the Soundtrack Player in action on Youtube.
