Hi everyone! Thank you all for a great first couple of weeks with Stu the fisherman, I've been enjoying getting all of your feedback and making improvements from said feedback.
This update will cover some of the bits coming soon to give you an idea on how development is progressing.
I've developed some new, much sleeker UI for the game, giving it more of a fisherman's log / travellers journal feeling!
The log and fisherman's shops have been adjusted into these beautiful book formats with tabs and defined structure.

A whole new progression system has been added revolving around progressing up a forever growing target score. Each target met will have a reward such as Wood, Food, Metal or even Trinkets!
Interactions with fish and scoring now have bursts of particles and shaking to add energy and feeling to your progression.

Rainbow fish count as any colour, meaning that they trigger all of your blue, red and green trinkets during scoring. New trinkets involve abilities such as converting fish to be rainbow when caught!

I thought I would take this first update to share with you where the game is heading over the next year with our roadmap!
The first few months are going to focus on fixes and improvement based on feedback from people like yourself! This includes changes to the game economy, adding flare to the scoring and animations, as well as all new features like the rainbow fish (which counts as any colour) and trinkets to create all new combinations with.
Following on from that the focus will be on adding new mechanics, such as the sky fishing biome, an arcade mode that allows endless fishing separate to the story and the continuation of Stu's story itself.
