Build the Perfect Team
Each party member has different abilities, synergies and choices in events. You can reach victory with each character.
However, draft carefully: because without knowing how to scale your team to victory, you'll end up as a yummy snack for the bigger threats which lurk further within the woods...

Easy to Learn, Hard to Master
Simple mechanics combine into satisfying and deep game design, perfectly scratching that itch of watching numbers grow while your party powers up throughout their adventure.

Play At Your Own Pace
Runs can be as quick and snappy as you wish once you get used to the game (about 10 minutes long for veteran players), the game turn-based nature of the game also lets you choose to take your time and make the perfect decision—or read carefully and savor the writing.

Map Navigation
Prioritize the right tiles for your team's needs while watching out for the creeping fog, which affects each step you take throughout the randomized map...
Clever decision-making and capitalizing on opportunities can make (or break!) your run.
\n\nHello heroes, villains and others!\n\nThank you so much for the warm reception to Heroes Against Time!!\nYour kind words in the Steam reviews and Discord really mean the world to me \n\nI wanted to write an update to share my future plans for the game + a secret code for a new Halloween themed palette at the end too! (feel free to skip there if you wish!)\n\n
\n\n
Big Update Plans
\n\nHeroes Against Time was always intended to be fully released as a complete game, so I don\'t plan to release constant updates with new content for the game.\nAnd while there are some minor issues, like balancing which could be tuned a tad bit better for example, I\'m still really happy with the state of the game overall.\n\nThat being said, I did add a bunch of small quality of life updates and fixes these last few weeks;\nAnd.. I do want to make a big update with some final additions and improvements.\nHere are my plans!\n\nWhat will the big update contain?
\n- \n
- At least two more things to buy in shops\n
- A handful of new event options\n
- Removing two relics and adding four new relics\n(Enchanted Lance and Sapling)\n
Stuff I might add:
\n- \n
- Modding system to let you create your own sets\n
- Steam workshop support\n
- More palette challenges\n
- New mechanics\n
- An extra map where all sets can be encountered\n
- Multiple save slots\n
- Character rebalancing\n
- Minor visual improvements\n
\nNew Palette
\n\n
spooky
\n\nWrite the code above in the palette screen and hit \"enter\" to unlock it!\n\nI thought I\'d add an alternate version of the \"Early Dawn\" palette as a fun little bonus for Halloween this one has ghastly greens and bone whites to keep things a bit more varied and fun.\n\n
\n
\n
\n\n\nThe End?
\n\nThat\'s all for this update, thank you for reading and see you next time!! \n-DavidMinimum Setup
