Demonic possessions are increasing all over the land. You are a priest being trained by the church to perform exorcisms. Equipped with your Exorcism Book and a case of Holy Relics you are sent to aid the afflicted population.
Demonic possessions
The land is being overwhelmed by evil. As days pass, new cases of possession will affect villagers at different locations. It is your duty as an exorcist to travel to them and cast the demons out.
Book of exorcisms
Your book contains information about all demons and demonic signs manifested by the possessed. Find the page that matches the current demonic sign and select the correct holy relic to counter the demon's actions.
Holy Relics
You will be equipped with six holy relics: Crucifix, blessed candles, holy water, anointing oil, incense and salt. Each relic has a unique minigame that you must complete to counter a demonic sign.
As you travel to different locations, you may find new relics that can have a decisive impact on the outcome of minigames.
Travel and experience events
Your Abbey is the only holy refuge for the villages around it. Villages can be blessed, afflicted by demonic possession and/or have unique events. Unique events can reward you with powerful relics that once belonged to saints and martyrs. Use the world map to travel and deal with each particular situation.
Multiple endings
Not all exorcisms will end successfully and some souls will be lost. The amount of lost souls and your choices will determine what kind of ending you will get. Some will cleanse the land of evil, while others will have it overwhelmed by corruption.

Dear exorcists,
We have two main things to share in this update.
Ritus Exorcismus
First, we changed the name of the game to Ritus Exorcismus. We feel like this name is much more descriptive and gives a better first impression to players. It makes it clear that our game is first and foremost about exorcising demons.
Demo v0.5.8 is now live
As mentioned in our previous update, we changed how traveling works in the game. We removed the world map and now each village represents one chapter of the main story. This makes the game a bit more linear, but also allows us to focus on storytelling and making each encounter more unique.
In this new version you will also experience:
Bigger villages with more inhabitants.
