Remembering Emily is a short visual novel in which Thomas, the protagonist, relives his memories of Emily—memories that led him to her tragic end… although they might not be as clear as they first appear.
Fragmented Memories
Throughout the different chapters of Remembering Emily, Thomas will try to piece together what really happened. Each memory represents a possible path… and each path reveals a different truth.
The player’s choices are crucial in this story, as they lead to unique situations and two completely different—but complementary—endings.

If you want to uncover what truly happened with Emily, you’ll need to reach both endings. Only then will you understand 100% of the story.
Characters
While Remembering Emily features more characters than those shown here, this is a brief overview of the key figures in this tale of mystery and emotion:

Emily. She enters Thomas’s life unexpectedly and quickly becomes someone essential to him… even after her tragic end, which ties her forever to his memories.

Noah. Throughout the story, Thomas recounts to Noah—almost like a therapy session—everything that happened with Emily. Noah plays a key role in helping him reconstruct his memories.

Kate. Thomas’s coworker and secretly in love with him. She’s one of his closest friends and always by his side… even when Emily appears.

Thomas. Through his eyes, we relive the past with Emily and discover why she left such a deep mark on his life.
Join Thomas on a journey through his memories and uncover the truth behind this emotional, mysterious story.

When we started creating Tortita Studio, we saw the launch of our first game, Remembering Emily, as far away as we could see.
Today, August 13th, we can finally share with you all the hard work of the past few months.
We hope to learn from all of you, listening to both suggestions for future stories and improvements we can make to this one. What\'s more, we\'ve already noted some suggestions from some content creators and Steam curators that we want to implement in this and future Visual Novels we publish.
Once again, thank you for wanting to play our first Visual Novel, and we hope this is the first of many stories to tell you all.
After months of working on our first Visual Novel, Remembering Emily, knowing that it will be available on Steam on August 13th... fills us with pride.
Tortita Studio is a two-person team: an illustrator and a writer/programmer. We came together to create the kind of Visual Novels we love to play the most. Stories of mystery and intrigue that you can play in 3-4 hours and leave feeling good afterward.
We hope you like our first work as Tortita Studio, and we promise to listen to your feedback to continue working on future Visual Novels, which are already in pre-production.
Thank you!
After a lot of effort and hard work by a very small team (illustrator, programmer/writer, and the English translator of the title), we can proudly say that the game has been completed.
We are now getting everything ready for the release, fixing tiny bugs in the game (the illustrator keeps wanting to change things ) and preparing our promotional efforts.
As passionate fans of Visual Novels, releasing our first title is a huge milestone, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed developing it.
Here are some images we\'ve already revealed on the game\'s page.\n
