Hi everyone, \n\nJust making a quick post to let you all know that I\'ve released a second chapter of my spicy BL visual novel, The Thistle and the Flower!\n\n[img src=\"https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/45467279/df9d08cb7bb630391d812d7b281982c77ffe4e7c.png\"][/img]I actually wrote three chapters of this story (I might have mentioned that in my author\'s notes of the base game), but I only adapted the first chapter into a VN. I was doubtful it would sell well, and I wasn\'t sure if I could justify spending more time and money on an unpopular story while working on so many other things... (glances into the horizon) \n\nWell, I was right, and The Thistle and the Flower sold very poorly. It probably won\'t recoup its initial production costs, which is often the way of indie VN dev, but!!! I enjoyed working on it, and I really liked the second chapter, and I wanted to turn it into a real VN anyway... \n\nAnd so I did haha, surprise. Maybe you can see this as an early Christmas present? \n\nI had initially planned to release the second chapter for free, but in the last couple of months Steam put out a statement saying devs of r18 games are not allowed to update their games to include more adult content which hasn\'t been through a proper content review: devs need to submit any additional r18 scenes as DLC so they can be checked to determine if they are \'appropriate\' for Steam. \n\nBecause of this, I had to release the second chapter of this VN as DLC so it could be reviewed [strike]but even then Valve only reviewed the store page of the DLC, not the actual build, so I\'m a bit ??? about this policy[/strike] which meant setting up the second chapter was more of a pain than anticipated. \n\nSince I had to release chapter two as DLC, I figured I mght as well charge for it, since it\'s around the same length as the first chapter and it has quite a few CGs. I\'m sorry if this is disappointing, but dealing with Steamworks and setting up DLC is such a time-consuming process I felt like I owed it to myself to put a price tag on this hahaha...... \n\n[img src=\"https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/45467279/2eb5d638620ed711085acc5e37d5a985793cbee9.png\"][/img]I don\'t really expect this to have a lot of readers, but I think the second chapter of this story turned out very cute and I\'m happy with it. Hi everyone,\r\n\r\nQuick post to let you know that my cute new BL visual novel Where the Heart Rests has been released. It\'s a wholesome slice of life story inspired by the anime Usagi Drop. It\'s about a couple of men who adopt a young child. There\'s a lot of domestic fluff here, and some yearning between the two adult leads. Hello everybody,

I'm making an announcement to let you know that Beneath the Bleeding Moon has (finally) been released!


I first showed off the demo of this VN 2 years ago, so getting it across the finish line was a bit of a challenge haha ;; I persevered, however, and now the full visual novel is out!

Bleeding Moon is a historical boys' love visual novel set in Japan. Follow Haru, a cross-dressing young man, as he goes on a journey with the devious thief, Kishou, to break an ancient curse.

Bleeding Moon is a little different from my usual visual novels in that it's less of a character drama and more of an adventure story. There's quite a few fight scenes, and it's (generally) light-hearted in tone, though there are a few darker moments.


There's also an r18 patch for anybody who wants it, which adds about 20k more words to the story and several animated(!!!) r18 scenes. This is the first time I've added animated adult CGs into any of my VNs, so I hope people enjoy it.
