Patch notes for build #298
Hey all,
We've just released Update 2, build number #298, for Flockers!
The game should now run correctly on Windows XP machines.
The editor is in a far more usable state and has a detailed set of help text to accompany it.

Content and changes:

Main Game– 5 new levels in the Factory Interior theme (26-30)

Main Game – Issues with XP operating system compatibility have been fixed.

Level Editor - Big changes to the Level Editor help text.

Level Editor - Motor states and switches are working correctly.

Level Editor - More objects now appear without a refresh required.

Level Editor – Some joints now have graphics in the edit window and have thumbnail images on the editor window – Rope, Revolute, Prismatic and Pulley all now have images.
Main Game:
IMMEDIATE FIXES:
- 0042375: Star scoring system is not matching up to the results screen
- 0042326: Star ratings are not correctly displayed when player improves upon score
- 0042473: Game fails to launch on XP machine
- 0042147: Levels 21-25 need to use Factory Exterior theme
- 0040697: If cursor is over sleeping sheep, can't assign ability after they wake up
- 0042294: Game crashes when pressing "Next" between some levels
- 0042308: Constant switch light remains active when no sheep are on it
- 0041905: Game flickers black several times when player uses 'Next' to advance to next level
- 0042391: Exploded pObjects are not being cleared up
- 0042340: Unable to get anti-grav sheep into exit on Level 23
- 0042508: Revolute joints not acting consistently in level 1038
- 0042524: Game becomes soft locked after any custom level is completed
- 0042388: Pressing next on a Workshop level causes soft lock
URGENT FIXES:
- 0042136: Super Sheep flying through a gap they shouldnt
- 0042160: After a restart, customisations from abilities look really small
- 0041648: Exploder range on level 1029 seems too low
- 0042436: Results screen appears after 1 Sheep enters the exit in Lambo - First Blood (minor)
- 0041897: Wooden Crates do not look destructible
HIGH PRIORITY FIXES:
- 0042417: Partial stars are being combined across levels to award full stars
- 0042048: Screen turns black when disconnecting on Leaderboards
- 0042475: No error message is given if connection is lost
- 0042237: Marquee graphic present on pause menu
- 0042189: No sound when the formation lands/a sheep enters a formation on the landscape
NORMAL PRIORITY FIXES:
0042477: It is possible to get a score of 0 in the Monthly leaderboards by failing the level
0040725: Mines have no detonation state
0042272: Top sheep in 2-block stair formation remains floating if bottom sheep is killed
0042270: Light emitter on Exit gate is offset when camera is moved
0041845: Underscores don't appear in-game
0042253: level 15 has a light that intersects with a lift
0042247: Audio sliders appear to have no keyboard control functionality
0042429: Teleport effect isn't seen when Sheep pass through
0041495: Exploder Timers are not removed after Exploder sheep die
0042392: Leaderboard message states "You've moved up 1 places on the Global leaderboard!"
0042243: Greyed out arrows are missing from the FE
0042248: Sleeping sheep Sleep animation stuck on frame 0
0041563: Exploder explosions are not heard in fast forward
0042369: Formation outline is visible within in-game menus
LOW PRIORITY FIXES:
- 0041438: Fast forward sound playing while paused.
- 0041851: Leaderboards don't load in Steam profiles
- 0041370: Explosion audio will continue to play when game is paused
- 0041484: Exploder Timers left on screen after multiple sheep explode in quick succession of each other
Level Editor:
IMMEDIATE FIXES:
- 0041698: Finishing and retrying a level will revert any changes made
URGENT FIXES:
- 0042446: Removed explosion template property
- 0041865: Cursor on game window is invisible over most of the screen when play/paused
- 0041735: Adding name of land tile to default name
- 0042444: Remove sound properties from the editor
HIGH PRIORITY FIXES:
0041858: Revolute Joints attached to only one Object attach themselves to another
0041744: Use a 'standard' cursor
NORMAL PRIORITY FIXES:
- 0042526: A 'Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library' error occurs when deleting a Smasher in the game window
- 0042525: The Sleeping Sheep in the game window of Flockers Meat Maker can't be moved
- 0042416: Changing mode whilst paused causes a blank game screen
- 0042414: Some joints are appearing as red circles
- 0042413: Some joints are invisible
- 0042400: Able to pause game whilst in Edit Mode
- 0042396: Difficult to see labels on tabs with new skin
- 0042250: Rope Joint between two Landscape Pieces not visible
- 0042324: Snap to Grid turns off after pressing Editor Mode
- 0041741: Missing 1x6 Inverted Ramp
- 0041867: Decorative Objects do not appear to do anything
- 0042373: Editor window titled "LevelEd"
- 0042372: "X" and "Y" in Grid Size cut off
- 0042513: 'Error building assets' when attempting to publish
- 0042407: Camera is too sensitive with keyboard controls in Edit Mode
- 0042410: Ability to set bold text in the help window
- 0041873: Moving a group of Objects with large grid sizing doesn't move all in same motions
- 0042318: Level Editor: Load/create levels straight in to Edit Mode
- 0041743: Orthogonal view
