We are beyond excited to finally share the first episode with all of you!

Thank you all so much for your support and feedback, and for encouraging us on our journey!

We're releasing episodically during Early Access because we would love to hear your feedback along the way! Episode 1 is completed and all of the features listed under "About this game" have been fully implemented. Also, by purchasing Episode 1 now, you will receive all future updates and episodes for free.

We hope you will love diving into the world of The Guardian of Nature.

Hey Guardians! While this update has been a long time coming, we have been busy like bees! We have some exciting news to share with you! First of all: Thank you so much for all of your incredibly helpful feedback when playing the The Guardian of Nature demo . We are so grateful that thousands of people have played the demo and that so many of you took the time to write down your thoughts, your play experience, what you liked and how we could improve the game. And we did! Many of you told us that there were these key things that you would like to see in the game: More story and background about The Guardians of Nature and the mission of Henry. Hint system for puzzles. An in-game navigation to explore and visit all the environments. Quality of life improvements like more settings for sound and music. More music tracks to change between environments. Introducing: The Book of Nature! Many of the above points have been addressed by the creation of The Book of Nature, which tells the story of The Guardian of Nature through a beautiful fairytale-inspired narrative. Throughout the game, you will regularly find and collect "Nature Cards", which unlock new pages in the book . They tell you more about the ancient wisdom of the Guardians of Nature, the interconnectedness of nature, and give you hints on how to continue your journey.

Once you have accessed locations, they become accessible in The Book of Nature . A map helps you to navigate and understand how environments are connected .
In addition: We will be releasing a new and updated demo of the game very soon, alongside a Kickstarter campaign that we are currently preparing. It would mean the world to us if you would follow the Kickstarter campaign to be notified when it launches and tell your friends about it. Hey Guardians! We are really excited to be a part of the upcoming Cozy Quest Festival on Steam from the 14th to the 18th of November 2024. Thank you so much for all the wonderful feedback we have received since we released the demo of The Guardian of Nature during the Tiny Teams Festival and the Wholesome Games Celebration back in August. We have been going through all your input and have updated the demo with bug fixes and Steam Deck compatibility (we are really excited about the last one and love to play and test the game anywhere!). Hey Guardians! For the very first time ever and very soon, The Guardian of Nature can be played on Steam! After all these years of hand-crafting and developing the game, this news makes us both excited and nervous at the same time The Guardian of Nature was first announced during Wholesome Direct 2023, and it is such a wonderful moment to now have the exclusive demo available during the Wholesome Games Celebration 2024 from August 15 which is also the last day of our Tiny Teams participation! We have placed a feedback form in the demo and it would mean the world to us if you could tell us what you think of the game and what we can improve! Hey Guardians! We have some wonderful news to share with you! We will be taking part in the 5th edition of the Yogscast Tiny Teams Festival, which showcases games from micro studios and solo developers. As a small team we are more than grateful for this opportunity. Hey Guardians! A lot has happened since our last update and dev stream at the Storytellers Festival. We have been slow on updates and we want to change that! We are hard at work and we want to give you some regular updates on what we are working on and give you a glimpse into our design process. Because everything in The Guardian of Nature is made by hand! In this first entry of our Dev Diary, well be sharing some exciting behind-the-scenes details. We want to make every aspect of our game to be magical, from the lush environments to the intricate character designs. Today, we want to show you how we created a scene where Henry, who can, yes, change in size, meets a frog. See how we started with simple sketches, refined the scene and finally added lighting and colour grading. Stay tuned for more updates, sneak peeks, and insights into our development journey. We are super excited to stream our exploration adventure and puzzle game The Guardian of Nature for the very first time during The Storyteller's Festival! We can't wait to show you what the game is all about! In short, The Guardian of Nature tells the magical journey of Henry, a botanist who uses his ability to change in size to save the world he is living in. The Tree of Life and its crucial mycelium network which connect the whole forest are in danger. Its a perspective-changing story of epic proportions. Players explore the beauty of nature in big and small, solve solarpunk puzzles and dive into the magical world of mycelium to eventually put nature back in order.
