You will notice a small update! Previous save games are compatible, however you will need to copy them over if you want to continue using them, please read the following: Please be aware that a new Saved Games folder will be created in C:Users[you]Saved Games called The Cat Lady. Just copy your save games from the original folder called Cat Lady into the new one to access your previous saves in the new version. Also to note that files copied from the original folder ending in .045 thru to .050 in the filename will be overwritten by the quicksave slots once you start using the F1-F4 keys. Slots 49 & 50 are reserved for a possible future autosave function. To access any older saves with those file extensions, it should be possible to rename them, ie .030 and load them that way. Version 1.6 includes Quicksave (using keys F1-F4) and Quickload (using F5-F8). You can also Delete previous save slots by going to the Load menu and pressing the Delete key when you have a save slot highlighted -- you will be prompted to confirm your choice. As always, you can still just copy + paste your save games elsewhere to keep the slots (45 manual save slots) free. This version of The Cat Lady uses a newer version of AGS engine so if you experience any issues please let us know, though we're quite confident it will continue to work without issue. The only remaining problem is that save slots are still limited to 45, our apologies - but we hope with quicksave/quickload and slot deletion within the game will help ease this issue. Note: As a few new lines of text have been added, they are not currently translated, so you may encounter some English instructions if playing with a language enabled - we will update the translations in due course! We will also aim to bring version 1.6 to DRM-free (GOG, Humble, Screen 7 etc) customers very soon. Thanks for playing The Cat Lady and your continued positive reviews (this update is a direct result of some of those, and thanks also if you recently bought it in the Steam Summer sale!) regards, Screen 7 & Harvester Games
