Hello We\'re super happy to announce (and release) a free content update for our little game, which we\'ve come to the Remix Update!
What\'s new?
Remix Mode
Once you\'ve beaten the main game, you\'ll get access to switch to Remix Mode, alongside the existing Endless Mode. In Remix, you can play each of the 8 levels with an added unique twist.
For those who\'ve pieced together the game\'s \"story\", Remix expands this a little further.

Australia Mode
We\'ve also added 2 new ways to play the entire game for extra challenge. The first being Australia Mode (or Aussie Mode). Since most of the team is based in Australia, we wanted to let others experience what it\'s like living in the land down under. Have a crack at it!

Dark Mode
We\'re a small team that makes games in our spare time, often at night. We needed a way to relax our eyes from the bright screen while testing the game... So we made Dark Mode! We loved it so much that we included it in this update.

Aaaaaand... it's out!
After a little over a year of working on this little game in our spare time, we're super proud to finally release Untitled Hand Game: Titled Edition!
Our team of 4 made a game jam in 2021 that was legitimately an untitled 'hand game'. For whatever reason, back in 2024 we thought we simply could squash the bugs, increase the amount of levels (from 1), and call it a day, all within a month. Fast forward to today and the game's code is entirely* rewritten. It has a fresh coat of paint, a complete soundtrack, and 8 times the number of levels.
*Except for the bit that makes things move up-and-down (Kevin's handy work).
Huge thank you to PostHorn PR, friends, and family for putting up with us <3
Cheers!

Hi again Before getting into what's next and a recap of what's been happening the past few weeks, we'd like to share a couple of lovely reviews we've encountered so far:
"Its hectic, its fun, and its just plain silly. \[] On the surface, Untitled Hand Game seems like a goofy premise. Honestly? It is, and thats why Im fully on board with it at this point."
- Vice
"Every time I thought Untitled Hand Game couldnt get more absurd, it just continued to prove me wrong."
- Qualbert.com
We've also loved coming across a few streamers and YouTubers play the demo, and honestly, it's been super fun to see and we're keen for sharing the full game soon!
Releasing 1st of July
The team is working hard on squashing bugs and putting the final touches on the game, and we're on track to release in a couple weeks (and we're super excited).
The demo also gets a patch:
New
Added a hold behaviour option in settings. Hold-to-hold is the new default, though you can toggle this off to get the old behaviour of click-to-toggle-hold.
[/*]Gamepad gets a close prompt for overlay menus.
[/*]
Changed
Further tweaks to collision boxes.
[/*]Updated credits with some more wonderful folks who've helped us.
[/*]Logic adjustments to the way the god hand (hand that gives back items) works.
[/*]More emphasis given to the life counter when losing a life.
[/*]
Bug fixes
The god hand no longer breaks its "loop prison".
[/*]Player hand now doesn't clip through the floor on the end screen.
[/*]Hopefully patched randomly not being able to grab any items (this one is tough to test).
[/*]
As always, thank you for the bug reports and suggestions!

Thank you to the Queensland Games Festival for organising a wonderful event and having us showcase alongside other amazing local games. We might see you there next year

Queensland Games Festival
14 June - Brisbane Powerhouse
If we hadn't mentioned already, most of the team is based in Queensland, Australia, and we're super proud to announce we'll be showcasing our game at the Queensland Games Festival in the Brisbane Powerhouse!
It's a free event, so come along on the 14th of June, say hi to the team, play the game early, and grab some goodies.

INDIGO (Past)
27-28 May - WTC Rotterdam, The Netherlands
This post comes after the Benelux games industry event, INDIGO , but we wanted to share the (old) news anyway!
It was the first time our small team exhibited a game at any physical event, and thankfully it as well it possibly could. We really appreciated industry folks came by, played the game, and gave some us great feedback and ideas.
Huge shout out to our friend, Jan-Pieter, for helping set up and show-off the game. And thank you to INDIGO and their lovely volunteers for having us and organising such a smooth event.
See you there next year, maybe??

Hello! Firstly, thank you so much for playing the little demo of our upcoming short game, Untitled Hand Game: Titled Edition. If you haven't tried it out yet, the demo features an endless mode of the game's first level, and now's a perfect time because we just fixed some bugs:
Bug Fixes
- Fixed some buttons on menu overlays not working.
- Fixed not translating to Portuguese via language selection.
- Various small bug fixes ("Not 100% sure what I did but it probably made the game better").
A bit about us
To introduce ourselves, we're a small team based in Australia and Belgium, and this is our first game we're releasing to Steam. We've participated in game jams together for some years now, combining our domains of programming (Josh), art (Reid), game design (Kevin), and music (Ciaran). We hope you'll enjoy our little game which releases soon!
Cheers,
Reid, Josh, Ciaran, & Kevin
