The official soundtrack for Starground is finally here! This OST, created by Ben Pittman, starts out with 47 tracks as seen in-game. These span from the calm and lo-fi vibes of automation zones, to the intense and grungy tracks from dungeons. This OST will be continually updated as new tracks are created and put into the game. A bundle with the OST and main game will be ready to go soon!
Buying the OST is entirely optional, and serves as a way to support more development of Starground. We hope you all enjoy it!

Opis is now the third automation planet in Starground. Being a gas giant, there's no physical surface to build on. Instead, players start on a floating platform that they can extend by building more in the Crafter. Opis offers new base materials like gold and hydrogen. It's important to be weary of the environmental hazards on Opis however. Lightning tends to strike often here, so building surge protectors to absorb those zaps will prevent your power networks from shutting down.

0.14 includes a whole new host of new content! Buildings include:
Asteroid Collector
Atmosphere Collector
Surge Protector
Wind Turbine
Big Frog Battery
V3 Conveyor, Splitter, and Underground Conveyor
There's also brand new items and researches to unlock on Opis as well!
Blueprints are finally here in Starground! This feature lets you copy buildings in a selectable area to be placed down later in any save. The ability to create new blueprints is unlocked on Opis, but you can access and place existing ones anytime in the blueprint menu (G on keyboard).
Blueprints can be saved, which ensures they stay around even when you close out of the game. Blueprints can also be imported/exported as text, in order to make sharing blueprints with others extremely easy.

It was always a bit tricky to see what items did what, and what ingredients buildings required, etc. In 0.14, all building, item, and recipe icons now show a more detailed list when hovered over. Planets in the Starlauncher also have received the same treatment, now outlining much more information about them than before.
More QOL features, including quick grabbing items from buildings, and shift + left/right clicking buildings to copy and paste recipes will be coming very soon!

This is the first "real" release of an experimental build for Opis! (the first one being for bugfixes) This update includes a ton of things, mostly focusing on automation, general stability, and QOL.
Many of these changes were merged into the main branch in order to fix multiplayer issues, however they'll be reported on alongside these experimental releases and eventually the full release of 0.14.
Let me know on Discord or on Steam Forums how things are feeling balance-wise. I will continue to tweak things, add new buildings, and get this update ready for the 14th.

Starground is a top-down automation dungeon crawler combo. Alternate between gathering and refining resources on your home planet, and venturing across space to fight through action roguelite-inspired dungeons. How you split your time is entirely up to you! There's no right way to play the game, and any path will progress the story.
Starground was built up with multiplayer from the beginning. Experience what Starground has to offer as a full co-operative experience with as many friends as you'd like. Invite your friends to work towards common goals, or divide and conquer each part of the game. If multiplayer isn't your thing though, you can play alone in single player too!
Develop and maximize an island of resources through automation. Work your way through a research tree filled with all sorts of unique machines and solutions to your logistical needs. Start humble by mining resources by hand and smelting manually, but soon build up to a formidable factory that can tackle anything you can throw at it.
If you're not into automation, or need to wait for your factory, then venture to other places in the solar system to explore and crawl your way through a variety of dungeons. Battle enemies, avoid obstacles, kill bosses, and reap the rewards of your effort. Take resources from dungeons back to your factory, or use rare loot to make yourself stronger and craft modular weapons. Make a spear, dual-bladed sword, or maybe a gun on a stick. The choice is yours.
Be sure to add Starground to your Wishlist!
