Heroes & Redemption is a rogue-lite bullet-hell game where different characters and ability combinations are utilized to fight against progressively stronger enemies in order to survive. Play as the warrior Otwin Reid, who defeats the creatures and enemies that suddenly appear in the world. Acquire new companions and try to find the ones responsible for this chaos.

FIGHT AND EXPLORE
Level up by slaughtering enemies that spawn in every direction. Make your character near immortal in this adventure by choosing one of randomly offered abilities each time you level up and by purchasing runes, armors, rings and empowered skills at the hub.
Complete levels by fulfilling objectives at altars that appear in specific waves. Explore special locations on the maps or complete achievements to unlock new characters and abilities.
MEET THE HEROES
Each hero brings unique strengths and a dark past to the battlefield. Whether it's the furious warrior, the elusive rogue who strikes from the shadows, the spell-weaving mage, or the unstoppable paladin with hammer in hand, every character is ready to confront dark forces. Join them, harness their powers, and fight for the fate of the realm!
COMPLETE YOUR TASKS
In addition to defeating enemies, you need to complete tasks at altars that appear in random places with random objectives.
EQUIPMENT
You can earn soul shards by completing altars or killing enemies, and you can purchase armors or rings with soul shards.
There are 4 types of armor sets in total. Some of them grants you increased protection but slows you down, while others grants you less protection but different powers. Combine or use the set that best suits your playstyle and destroy the enemies in your own way.
Purchase 10 mystical rings, each granting unique powers to transform your character’s abilities – from enhanced strength and speed to soul absorbing magic and life-stealing powers.
SPEND YOUR GOLDS AT THE HUB
At the hub, you can purchase characters, runes and even buy empowered skills that evolve your powers.

A WORLD FULL OF CHAOS
Survive in the putrid dark crystal cave, embark on an expedition in old graveyard that filled with the traces of forgotten tombs, uncover the secrets of snowy village, be careful where you step in toxic sewers that filled with perilous waters and creatures, explore the old prison with ancient stone cells and annihilate all the enemies that cross your path.

Due to sustainability issues, we regret to announce that we will no longer be able to actively develop Heroes & Redemption.
As one of our final steps, weve decided to make the game completely [u]free to play[/u]. This decision comes from a desire to let the game live on and reach more people even if were no longer able to support or expand it. From now on, the game will be available on Steam at no cost.

Based on player feedbacks, we have made adjustments to the economy and equipment system to enhance balance and gameplay experience.
CHANGES
- Bosses at the end of levels now gives Soul Shards upon defeat.
(Golem:15 | Demon:20 | Frozen Golem:25 | Beholder:30 | Drond:20 | Drund:20) - Adjusted the conversion cost for Soul Shards. (10000 6666)

- All equipments are now unlockable in the game.
[list] - Bosses now drop a chest upon defeat, which unlocks 3 to 6 equipments, depending on luck.

- Made changes to the Bestiary screen to display the drop rates of equipments for each boss.
- Equipments previously purchased will be immediately usable after unlocking and do not need to be repurchased.
- If you unequip currently equipped armors, you will need to unlock them again before re-equipping.
FIXES
- Fixed an issue on the Dor'galor's Trials where the game would not progress.
- Fixed visual issues on the loading screen occurring at certain resolutions and aspect ratios.
- Fixed the collider for the anvil at the Blacksmith Altar.
- Fixed an issue where the Comet ability would sometimes target incorrectly on the Winterland and Sewer maps.
- Fixed an issue where stacking experience crystals resulted in incorrect amounts being granted.
[FIX] Fixed input-related issues, such as unintended auto-walking behavior.

As the character moves, it creates acid clouds behind that deal damage to enemies.
Sprays water in four directions around the character.
A curse has been added to the game. When you acquire this curse, enemies' health, speed and damage increase. Additionally, more enemies spawn.

The positions of the camera and some abilities were changed to be more suitable for the game. Character hurtbox (shadow) is now the focal point for both abilities and camera. Your feedback is very important for this change.
We would like to add other languages as well as Russian, so that we can reach more players and have this experience in their own language. If you would like to help, please reach out.
CHANGES
- Bestiary unlocked. The basic stat information of the enemies you have previously killed can now be viewed here. (Enemies that have been previously killed but do not currently have save data may appear locked)
- The Flying Seal ability no longer fires from a fixed position.
- The Banish system has been changed.

- When banished, the banished slot and the item in that slot are deleted.
- If 3 slots are banished and there is no reroll or skip, the right to choose items is lost.
- If reroll is used, 3 new slots are recreated.

- Fixed the issue where animations were not played correctly when moving slowly while playing with a gamepad.
- Fixed the issue where damage indicators would appear in the wrong color when you block incoming damage with evade.
- Fixed the issue where Berserker's Rage was not visible in the hood.

I think there will be new meta progress tiers, but before that, balancing will be done for a while to improve the experience, please do not forget to send feedback.
