Control Options
Galaxy Drift offers three distinct ways to control your vehicle during a race. Choose from classic, directional and mouse steering, each of which will appeal to different style of players. Experimenting is easy as you can change control methods at any time!
Classic
Classic controls mimic traditional isometric racing controls where the vehicle turns based on its own perspective and not the player.
Directional
Directional controls turn the vehicle in any direction based on the perspective of the player.
Mouse Steering
Mouse Steering is a special single player only control method in which you pilot the vehicle using the mouse only. The distance from the vehicle to the cursor determines speed and turning speed.
Track Selection
Race across 9 tracks through 3 Cups, each with its own unique setting and music track. Master these tracks and dominate the competition to claim the Galaxy Drift League Championship.
Racer Selection
Select from 8+ racers, each with a unique vehicle and varied stats. Each racer has their strengths and weakness, pick your favorite or the one best suited for the current track.
Grand Prix Mode
Choose Grand Prix mode to race against the competition in consecutive races. You need to get top 3 to unlock the next cup. Get first in all cups to become the Galaxy Drift League champion.
While racing through the Grand Prix mode, you can also find secret emblems in each track. Find them all to unlock special rewards!
Leaderboards
Test your skills in Time Trial mode. Push your racer to the limit and achieve the best time on each track. Save your best time to the local leaderboards or upload to Steam and share your triumph with others.
Soundtrack
Included with the game is the amazing soundtrack by H4MSTER.

Another update is here Racers! v1.05 completely changes the game in a lot of ways. Here's a list of patch notes.
- Can now adjust camera height for both players.
- Can toggle if camera auto zooms or not.
- Can now toggle on or off the Mouse Steering Tether graphic.
- Fixed graphical issues on the warping ships in Track 08.
- Improved performance in Track 06.
- Fixed bug in leaderboard showing wrong display.
- Fixed leaderboard UI issues.
- Translation updates
Each track has been updated to be easier to navigate, and the new camera height options can give you exactly the view that's right for you.
Unfortunately, each track has had enough changes to warrant their time trial records being reset to compensate for the changes. Which means a leaderboard reset. If you've already completed the time trial challenge, you will see keep any unlocks.

Galaxy Drift v1.04 is here! Here's a quick rundown.

- Fixed broken defaults button in control options.
- Using mouse steering in two-player mode should now work in Fullscreen or Windowed.
- Player positions in two-player split screen are now shown on the bottom left.
- Increased visibility of certain HUD elements.
- Modified HUD elements to better scale above 1920x1080.
- Space based tracks now have the proper speed increase when intended.
- Added Steam Cloud save support.
Version 1.03 Notes:
- Fixed bug that could cause background ships to not appear.
- In Single Player and Grand Prix, the player's name is now user's Steam name if connected, rather than the generic 'Player One.'
- Improved directional arrow and health orb visibility.

Hello Racers!
I wasn't able to have a Linux version ready on launch, as just wrangling the Windows version was enough of a challenge. Now that the Windows version is out and stable enough, I was able get over the final hurdle and make it happen. Which means I'm glad to announce that Galaxy Drift is now available on Linux and Steam OS!

-Fixed instances of game crashing when launching from steam.

Small patch to address the tutorial and menu navigation.
Changes:
- Revamped tutorial. Should now be easier to read the tutorial messages. Also improved tutorial messages for each control type.
- Improved menu navigation. You can now use ESC key or controller to go to previous menu. Added confirm on exit game in pause menu.
