Hello, Core Romance Specialists!

As we wait for our build review here on Steam, my team and I have been hard at work over on our Discord server prepping our up-and-coming DLC. With the great reception the base game has received over on Itch, we\'re happy to bring you another venture into Aperture\'s world of romance, with an all-new cast, all-new location, and all-new mechanics.

How long has this been in the works?

The DLC started production before the original base game was ever released. It was my full intention to continue this story from the start, as I think there\'s still plenty of opportunities to explore this little section of Aperture.

When can we expect release?

We\'re aiming for late 2026, although with the slew of new mechanics and characters, APDS:DD is nearly the same length in playtime as the base game, and as such, we will take our time with it. We\'ll have more details the further into development we get.

Step back into the world of Aperture Dating Simulator with our up-and-coming DLC, Double Down!

Ten years before the events of the original game, Aperture continues to struggle financially under the leadership of the - still alive - CEO, Cave Johnson. To combat this, the financial sector comes up with a wild idea... the Aperture Casino & Bar! As a seasoned veteran of the company, you\'ve been called in to take over management of the new department and its robotic staff. Can you maintain your professional attitude, or let it slip away in the wake of your coworker\'s charm?

Aperture Dating Simulator: Double Down is fully voiced once more, with 7 all-new characters to meet and a new location to explore. With several new cutscenes, endings, and classic dating sim mechanics, Double Down will flip the script of the original game and present you with more difficult relationships to navigate.

What do you have to lose? You\'ve played the base game. You\'re in too deep.

Hello, Core Romance Specialists!

Due to some internal conflicts, our release on Steam will not be ready by August 28th. We know this is a big disappointment, but it\'s out of our hands. We are not sure when the Steam build will be ready.

However, you WILL still be able to play the game on August 28th.

At 3:00 PM MST, we\'ll be opening our Itch.io page, where the game will be downloadable, playable, and fully accessible in its entirety. This page will only be accessible until the Steam release is complete, after which it will be archived for bug testing.

I apologize greatly on behalf of me and my team - I know this is not the news you wanted to hear. We\'re still consistent with our release, though, so expect to see us on Itch THIS THURSDAY!

After some hard work and a lot of patience, Aperture Dating Simulator is officially ready to say... we will be releasing on AUGUST 28TH, 2025! (if everything goes well)

Of course, like any game, we can't guarantee this is 100% accurate, but at the pace we're going, we're well on our way to being done by then. Thank you so much for your support and your patience!

Thank you, one and all, for your interest in Aperture Dating Simulator. Thanks to all the support we've had, I'm excited to announce we're finally available to wishlist! I mean, you probably already know that if you're reading this, but regardless.

This is a one-woman project (except for the voice actors, obviously) and I really appreciate all the excitement surrounding this game's eventual release. We're about halfway through our development - kind of - so we're aiming for an August or September release this year. This is, of course, subject to change.

If our achievements seem a little weird, that's normal - we're still working on those, so don't be scared. There's definitely more than just two!
