Hello everyone! I come bearing some (tentatively) good news. Our Kickstarter launched earlier this week and is nearly to 75% already. I don\'t want to count my chickens before they hatch, but I\'m feeling optimistic about the changes we\'ll be able to soon bring to Day After Day!

Before the end of 2025, we plan to overhaul our current Steam page with screenshots and gifs from our new vision for the game: a pixel art world with top-down movement build in Unity to better emphasis the RPG aspects of our game. First off, thank you to everyone who has wishlisted the game so far! There\'s over 700 of you now which makes me so happy and pleasantly surprised. \n\nBack in late June, we released an early prototype of Day After Day exclusively on Itch.io to get some vibe checks on the game. It contains over 30,000 words, about an hour of content, and...a fair bit of bugs. Nothing game-breaking and the demo was still a lot of fun, but we\'ve been using Ren\'py to make our narrative RPG so far and felt we were starting to run into the limits of using a visual novel engine.\n\nWe\'re working on rebuilding in Unity and are moving from a point-and-click map to free movement that you see in games like Stardew Valley and Fields of Mystia. While most of the writing carries over, a lot of the art doesn\'t. To bring our new vision to life, we\'ve decided to run a small Kickstarter to help us move forward. \n\nIf you\'d like to follow our pre-launch page to be notified when the Kickstarter launches, here is the link.
