Only 2 days remain before the release of Next Run, and today we present a new class - the Lord.
The Lord is a unique class for both RPGs and roguelikes, combining the gameplay of strategy and role-playing.
More than any other class, the Lord focuses on capturing and developing regions through various buildings.
Villages, Sawmills, Mines, and Farms provide a steady income of resources. These resources can be invested in constructing buildings such as Barracks and Mage Guilds, which in turn enhance the Lords Skills and open new opportunities.
Players will face strategic choices:
- Build new structures or upgrade existing ones?
- Expand territories or focus on controlled regions?
- Invest in resource production or in improving Skills?
Some map locations enhance building efficiency - for example, the Necrocastle dungeon increases the efficiency of all nearby Mage Guilds by 50%.
Class features:
- First Talent - Stewardship: +2 controlled Villages or Buildings.
- Second Talent - Dexterity: speeds up Construction and Upgrading.
- Starting assets: 20 Gold, Basic Hammer.
- Starting Blueprints for various Buildings.
- Ancestral estate: starts the game with one region already under control, providing +1 Gold per day.
Weaknesses:
- Requires time and planning before investments start to pay off.
- Low effect from Strength and Endurance - direct leveling is almost useless.
- Unlocks after completing the game as the Crafter.
Lord - the perfect choice for those who prefer strategy and economy, yet wish to experience them in the pace of a roguelike.

Today well tell you about the Necromancer a grim master of death who turns the fallen into his loyal servants.
If the Leader commands the living, the Necromancer commands the dead. He combines traits of the Leader, Mage, and Artisan, yet acts in a completely different way. His path is to gather the Remains of fallen enemies and turn them into an army of the undead. He makes no distinction between enemies and allies all serve him after death.
The Necromancer welcomes every battle and every new friend for sooner or later, they all join his ranks. He has no need for Leadership: Skeletons are mindless and utterly loyal, so they can be recruited without limits.
Class features
- Starting items: 20 Gold, a Basic Staff, and several Remains
- First talent - Control: increases the effectiveness of controlled undead by 10% per skill level
- Second talent - Dexterity: increases the speed of raising undead. The stronger the creature, the longer the raising process
- The Necromancer gains 30% more bonuses from improving tomes, making him a powerful spellcaster even without upgrading Meditation
- Gains bonuses from Cemeteries and Burial Grounds on the map and can collect Remains there
Weaknesses
- To expand his army, the Necromancer benefits from destroying everyone around him the more fallen there are, the more soldiers he can raise. But that takes time!

Class Description
The Leader is a specialist in recruiting soldiers and improving their efficiency.
Her strength lies in her allies - they are the source of her power. Playing as the Leader requires a thoughtful approach to development and squad management.
Class Features
- Starts the game wearing padded armor and commanding a small squad of peasants.
- First Talent - Leadership: allows recruiting more units without penalties. +2 units for each point of the skill.
- Second Talent - Control: increases the effectiveness of commanded fighters. All allies gain +10% to their stats for each point of Control.
Weaknesses
- Like the Warrior, the Leader prefers to act decisively and fight often - therefore, hellish waves attack her 15% more frequently.
- Not available from the start - unlocked after completing the game as the Warrior.
Youll often have to decide: spend money on yourself or on your squad? Hire new soldiers or improve the old ones? How many warriors and mages to bring, and how many crafters and gatherers?
The Leader is the choice for strategists who put their people above themselves on the road to victory.

Over 60 updates since version 1.0.7. The main ones include:
- Improved UX: added window headers and close buttons, hotkeys, reordered interface buttons, slightly increased game speed, added protection from accidental clicks, and tooltips indicating that objects can be upgraded or created.
- Fixed dozens of bugs, minor issues, and UI performance problems.
- The base effect of spells has been reduced by half, but the impact of the Magic skill on spell power has been increased roughly threefold.
- Enemy monsters of level 3 and higher have been weakened.
- Balance: slight nerf to Warrior and Artisan, buffs to Mage and Necromancer.
- In the full version, class unlock conditions have been added:
- Leader - unlocked by completing the game as Warrior
- Necromancer - unlocked by completing the game as Mage
- Lord - unlocked by completing the game as Artisan
- Peasant - unlocked by completing the game in Nightmare mode
- In Nightmare mode, saving is now available only upon exiting the game.
- The Trade skill now affects the bribing of creatures; a minor rebalance of creature prices has been made.
- The Escape chance now increases by +10% per day.
- The Living Tree no longer grants EXP but gives +1 Skill Point instead.
- Texts polished and full support for Turkish and Polish language characters added.

The Mage is the third class of the game, available in the free demo version (release on October 3).
Unlike the Warrior and Artisan, the Mage relies not on brute strength or equipment, but on spells. Offensive, defensive, and supportive magic create a completely different playstyle more dynamic and flexible.
The Mage is a true collector of spells. The more diverse spells you discover, the more tools for victory you gain. You can play cautiously, using weaker but mana-efficient spells, or attempt to finish a battle with one ultimate spell. The key is to manage your mana reserves before striking!
Class features:
The Magic skill is extremely important: it increases the effectiveness of all spells.
Starts the game with 20 gold, a simple staff, and several random level 12 spells.
Key talents: Intelligence (boosts Magic) and Meditation (increases mana pool).
Maximum mana increased by +5.
Duplicate spells found in adventures improve those already learned.
Weaknesses:
Strongly dependent on mana and the available spells.

A true treasure for tacticians who enjoy complex multi-step strategies. Not for beginners, but for those who have already mastered the game and want to discover a completely new style of play.
Class features:\n Starts with 20 gold, a pickaxe, and random blueprints of level 12 items, allowing immediate crafting.\n The higher the Dexterity, the stronger items become after upgrades.\n Unlike the Warrior who rushes into battle, the Artisan first gathers blueprints, collects resources, creates and upgrades items, and only then calmly engages in fights.\n Can turn an ordinary dagger (+2 damage) into a deadly weapon (+8 damage) and clear enemies with confidence.
Weaknesses:\n Slow start: while the Warrior is already fighting, the Artisan is still preparing. This class requires patience and planning.

The Warrior is a master of combat and direct confrontation.
He is strong and resilient, gaining bonuses to Strength and Endurance. His key skills are Attack and Defense, which are directly enhanced by equipment.
Class features:
- Starts the game with 20 Gold and a Club, allowing him to engage in battles effectively right away.
- Can switch Stances, balancing between Attack and Defense. For example, in battles against mages, where physical defense is useless, the Warrior tries to defeat the enemy as quickly as possible in the Attack Stance.
- Easy to master: he is the class youll use to complete the Tutorial and begin your first run.
- One of the three classes available in the Demo, releasing this October.
Weaknesses:
The Warrior faces Hell attacks 25% more often, so he must act more decisively.
