For Russian, the previous translator unfortunately didnt deliver the files, so we made the decision to find a new translator and restart the process. While thats never ideal, its better to move forward properly rather than delay things further or compromise on quality.
At this point, I cant promise exact dates yet translations take time, and I want to make sure everything is done carefully and consistently. That said, my current estimate is around 23 weeks for the first language, which will most likely be Turkish, assuming everything goes smoothly.
Once the first translation is nearing completion, Ill have a clearer picture of the timeline for the remaining languages as well.

Todays update is especially close to our hearts Carnal Contract now includes Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese!
We know how passionate the gaming community is across Latin America and Brazil, and how much youve been asking for this. It was really important to us that you can fully experience the story in your own language, and were thrilled to finally deliver it.
From now on, you can switch to Spanish or Portuguese directly in the settings menu and enjoy Carnal Contract the way it was meant to be played.
Keep in mind, both Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese will go through one more proofreading round this week, so if you notice any mistakes, they will be fixed in the coming days.
But were not stopping here. The next language will be Russian, which we expect to release in the first week of October. After that, in October, well announce which other language well begin working on next. Step by step, we want Carnal Contract to feel welcoming and accessible to players all around the world.

Many of you have asked about translations, so heres the update.
Were actively working on Spanish, Russian, French, and Simplified Chinese. Spanish is nearly finished, and weve now started French and Simplified Chinese alongside Russian.
I cant promise whether theyll be done in just a few days or a few weeks but theyll definitely be released during September. As soon as one is ready, itll be pushed out in an update.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Right now, there are 40 achievements for you to collect.
With the next update, well be adding 20 more, these wont be as easy. Youll need to put in some extra effort to unlock them!
Weve already finished 10 of them, with 10 more on the way. Expect them to go live early next week.

I need to let you know about a small change to our release schedule for Carnal Contract.
The game is still in Steams REVIEW PROCESS, and unfortunately the approval is taking longer than expected.
Because of this, we wont be able to launch on the original date.

Were currently working hard on Spanish and Russian translations. Both are on track to be ready before our August 20 launch date. If, for any reason, they arent fully complete by release, they will be added shortly after in a update so no one will have to wait long.

Proofreading
The entire script is going through a final proofreading pass to make sure everything reads smoothly and any small errors are fixed before launch. This is part of our last quality push so the story feels as polished as possible on day one.
Walkthrough
Since the game features multiple love interests and choices that can change the story, were also preparing a walkthrough. This will help players see exactly which choices to make depending on the outcome or scenes they want to experience. It will be available soon so everyone can explore the story the way they prefer.
