How far would you go to save someone you love—when you can’t even trust your own memories?
A young woman has vanished without a trace. In the storm-washed streets of a coastal town haunted by old wounds, you are Alex Hart—a detective running from your own past.
Every lead pulls you deeper into a web of suspicion. The people you meet may become your partners, your lovers, or your downfall. With each choice, trust becomes a luxury—and the line between reality and obsession blurs dangerously thin.

Hello everyone,
Its been a little quiet from our side lately, and I want to take a moment to explain why, and to be fully transparent about where Veils of the Past currently stands.
Over the past months, Ive been deeply focused on the heart of the game:\nthe writing, the structure, and every branching path of the story.
As the narrative evolved, it reached a level Im genuinely proud of; emotionally, thematically, and in terms of player choice. But while refining the story, one thing became very clear:
Veils of the Past can only be released when everything meets that same level of quality.
That realization led to a difficult but necessary decision.

Re-assessing the entire presentation
To do the story justice, all visuals are currently being re-evaluated.\nMany scenes are being refined and quite a few are being completely remade to ensure they match the tone, emotion, and depth of the writing.
This also applies to:
branching structure and pacing
[/*]sound design and atmosphere
[/*]overall player experience
[/*]all localizations, which must feel natural and immersive in every supported language
[/*]
Because of this, its no longer realistic to release the game in February 2026.

Updated release window
The new target release window for Veils of the Past is Spring/Summer 2026.
I know this may be disappointing for those of you who have been eagerly waiting, and I dont take that lightly. But I firmly believe that launching the game only makes sense when every part of it reaches the same high standard.
I want your first full playthrough to feel right and complete.\nNot rushed. Not compromised. Not almost there.

Thank you for your patience
Your support, your wishlists, and your messages mean more to me than I can properly express. I promise that this extra time is being used with one goal in mind:
To deliver the best possible version of Veils of the Past, and an experience truly worth the wait.
Thank you for staying with me on this journey.\n
