SKIGILL: a bullet-hell roguelike survivor, with a huge skill tree!
A group of adventurers is trapped in an otherworldly pocket dimension. As they face waves of enemies, their only hope is: The SKIGILL!
The SKIGILL
A vast magic sigil is etched on the battleground. Each one of its magic nodes provides a boon to its user: statistics increase, weapons, and powerful perks.
Defeat enemies, collect resources, and invest them in the nearby nodes.
But be careful where you go next, because you cannot conquer the entire SKIGILL at once. Knowledge of its layout will be crucial to your efficiency in battle and survival!
The Heroes
An unknown number of adventurers are trapped here. Your role is to help them conquer the SKIGILL and survive 15 minutes of unrelenting enemy waves!
Each starts with their own weapon, perk, and position on the Skigill. Thus, each of them have unique gameplay and strategies available, but it is possible to hybridize them by reaching the other character's zone on the SKIGILL.
For now, 3 are playable:
The Strongman punches his way through the waves with devastating attacks that turn the enemies into explosive projectiles!
The Sorcerer casts lightning, jumping between the enemies and inflicting considerable damage against packs!
The Fox is swift and nimble, it catches resources with its hookshot that pierces enemies back and forth. The resources also have an additional healing effect!
The 3 other characters will soon be added.
The Weapons
More than 40 weapons await you in chests scattered all around. Adapt your strategy to the weapons that fate chooses for you. Or reinforce the weapons you already own in an attempt to get your dream build!
The Perks
Reinforce your strategy with 30 powerful perks to include in your build! Launch lightning bolts when you collect resources, heal yourself when you open a chest, or make an explosion when you unlock a node!
The meta progression
A second sigil is here to further empower your characters and builds!
It contains permanent statistics increases, new and specific unlockable weapons, and more characters to play!
As you progress in the meta-sigil and learn new strategies, you can try harder difficulties, which in turn reward you with more resources to build new strategies with!
There is no tutorial, and no text; it will be up to you to experiment and discover synergies!

Introducing the Prototype!
This new character is a one-of-a-kind automaton crafted from long-forgotten technology. It\'s huge and strong and is not afraid to take hits. Those who land a hit usually regret it deeply shortly after!
An unparalleled resistance compensates for its slowness. It also has access to both the red and blue parts of the tree, allowing it to easily use weapons with either affinity.
Speaking of which, 4 new weapons related to the big robot are next to it, unlockable in the meta progression tree! Some of them may hurt you, so beware! (unless...?)
New endless mode
Previously, the endless mode was a separate mode with 1-hour-long games, which were usually settled by the 30th minute. I think it lost its charm after the first few games, and the large number of enemies was causing performance issues. It was also available on the default skigill only.
Now, the endless mode is available with the 3 maps. Instead of being a test of endurance and patience, it tests how strong your build can be. Decide to leave with the vortex and keep all the gains, or bet you can reach the next exit point in 5 minutes, and lose some of your earnings if you can\'t!
Your survival time is also measured for each mode, character, and difficulty combination, allowing you to hone your skills and see how far you can push the builds.
Performances
I have received your reports about the performance issues, especially on higher difficulties and in the endless game mode. Part of it was caused by the magnetism perk. It used to inflict 30% of the magnetism stat on every enemy touched by the Ski (coin) before being collected by the player. Now the perk only inflicts increased damage to the first enemy and not every single one on the way.
Another part of the performance issues was caused by the enemy count; I made it so that you should die before performances become an issue.
Readability
Being able to tell what is going on is my main priority. I saw your feedback about not being able to see the enemies, and doubled the red outline around them.
Don\'t forget to activate the color mode and the minimized effects mode in the pause menu when there are too many enemies.
Miscellaneous
You can now toggle weapons off in the meta tree.
