Weve just released a new update for the Videoclub Simulator demo, focused on fixing the most critical bugs reported by the community. Thanks so much for your feedback it helped us a lot!

Key Fixes:

Improved NPC behavior

• NPCs no longer get stuck in the checkout queue.

• Fixed an issue where customers stopped entering the store entirely.

Weve also resolved several minor NPC-related bugs to improve overall stability.

Achievements tested
All demo achievements have been tested and can be unlocked. If you're aiming for 100% completion, go for it!

Important note about the demo ending:

The demo ends when you reach level 8, which also resets your save.
So if youre aiming for the Tutorial Completed achievement, make sure to finish all tutorial-related missions before hitting level 8.

Weve just launched a brand new build of the Videoclub Simulator demo and it comes with some of the most requested features and fixes from the community.

Save Your Progress Finally!

You asked for it, and it's here:
You can now save your game and continue later without losing your progress, missions, or achievements.

No More Stuck or Missing NPCs

A major issue that caused NPCs to stop arriving or get stuck around doors and shelves has been completely resolved.
In addition, weve upgraded their behavior and logic to feel more natural and dynamic.

Revamped User Interface
Cleaner, more modern and easier to navigate. A full redesign of the UI to improve your management experience.

NPCs now leave smarter, more relevant feedback based on your store's condition.

First off, thank you so much for the amazing support and feedback since the launch of the Videoclub Simulator demo. Weve been working hard behind the scenes to improve the overall experience based on your input.

In the upcoming build, which will be available very soon, you'll find:

Major fixes to bot (NPC) behavior: weve resolved several issues that were causing strange or stuck behaviors.

Brand new save system: this highly requested feature is now here! Youll be able to save your progress and continue your game. This was not available in the original demo.

Fixes for critical bugs: especially those that were preventing players from completing the demo.

UI improvements: small but important visual updates to make the game feel smoother and more polished.

This update is all about ensuring a better, more stable experience so everyone can enjoy the demo from start to finish without interruptions.

Trash no longer reduces your store's popularity directly.

However, customers will now complain if the store is dirty, which can affect the experience they gain during their visit.

New customer comments

Customers will now leave comments about the state of your store. Make sure to keep it clean and welcoming!

Store updates and price adjustments

We've made updates to the in-game store, including some adjustments to item prices to improve balance.

General lighting improvements

Weve reworked the lighting across the game to make the experience brighter and more comfortable to play.

• The game now automatically detects your Steam language.
  If its English or Spanish, it will apply accordingly.
  For other languages, the game will default to English.
