Hey everyone!\nIve just updated the Steam page with a brand new trailer and a fresh set of screenshots that showcase the latest progress on Epoch Extinction. The game is still not playable yet, but the last few months have been packed with huge improvements and new systems coming online.

Here are some highlights of what has been added or improved recently:

A completely new objective system that replaces the old message box popups and guides the player more naturally\n A fully functional Skill Tree with multiple branches, an XP bar, and new unlockable abilities\n The introduction of armor, improved weapon information, and lots of quality-of-life details to make gameplay more readable\n Major upgrades to dinosaur AI, especially the Ornitholestes, including new animations, smarter stealth behavior, better ambush logic, new sounds, and overall smoother movement\n A full explosion system with chained reactions, smoke effects, bullet impact VFX, and propane grill interactions\n The complete interior of the gas station store, fully furnished with shelves, props, fridges, and connected to the chunk-streaming world\n A polished HUD and inventory, improved menus, Steam Deck icon support, and an overall more stable user interface\n Big performance gains in streaming, background threads, and region loading\n A new graphics settings menu that allows tuning shadows, GI, and other visual options\n Updated audio everywhere including indoor vs outdoor ambience, birds, and dinosaur sound design\n Many visual improvements such as higher-quality roads, better lighting, and updated character clothing
