We are pleased to announce that The Bar Souls participated in the Latin American Game Showcase The Game Awards Edition on December 9th, as part of the Official Selection 2025 among more than 70 independent video games from the region.

In this highly relevant event, we showcased the game\'s well-known main mechanics: challenging combats and a visual narrative universe, where each boss represents a demanding challenge. The audience response was highly positive.

The Latin American Game Showcase (LAGS) has established itself as a fundamental platform for the Latin American independent video game industry, dedicated to increasing the global visibility of titles developed in the region and facilitating access to opportunities in top-tier international scenarios, such as its integration with The Game Awards. \r\n\r\nSacred doors, now more obedient:\r\n\r\nFixed a bug that occurred when players exited the game in an unconventional way (Alt+F4). This could corrupt shrine door information. Now everything will work as it should.\r\n\r\n

Independent block puzzles\r\n\r\nThe first two block-moving puzzles shared the same script, causing conflicts. Now each has its own system, preventing errors and ensuring you can progress without issues.\r\n\r\n

Fourth boss backroom\r\n\r\nPreviously there were multiple sword enemies too many. Now you\'ll only find three archers ready to test your reflexes. Less chaos, more precision, and plenty of arrows to dodge.\r\n\r\n

Unskippable credits (literally)\r\n\r\nWe noticed several players and streamers were skipping the final credits. From now on, you\'ll be cordially detained for a few minutes on the credits screen, so you can meet the people who made The Bar Souls possible. Plus, No-Hitters will have their own mention space within the in-game credits.
