Feedback from the wider SHMUP community was that the original price of Zaxtron EXPLUS was a little out of players regular gaming budgets... so I\'ve halved it!
This price reduction does not effect any of the updates I have planned for the game, but is designed to increase the player base and get more eyes on experience.

Hello jet packers! I\'m really excited to announce that the latest major patch is now live.
I have tried to clean up the games interface, making menus and options more readable.

The main game has had a good polish and I\'ve balanced several areas for a better player experience.
But the BIG NEWS is that the game now has a built in ARCADE featuring three mini games!
Space Monsters is still alive and kicking with small balancing changes.

Hey my dudes!
I\'m busy working on implementing more mini games and special 1980s style arcade interface for them, but prior to that update I wanted to give players more of a chance to learn the game.
With that in mind, you now have the option to have 99HP in Normal Mode!!
You can still do Normal Mode without the increase in HP, but I hope this gives players that are getting killed early to get the whole game experience without getting killed off early :)
To get these lives, simply start the game in Normal Mode and once you get to the instructions screen select YES!

Hey my dudes! 2 biggish changes with this hot fix!
Players pointed out that the drone enemies on the Military Base level were quite odd and appeared out of no where, so I\'ve addressed this by added a new large drone enemy that spawns the mini drones. The little mini drones are destructible and will stop spawning when you kill the mommy drone :)

The second big change in this hot fix is the addition of Z Medals that can be collected to increase your super bar. In the previous version you only got these from killing the bigger enemies, but in order to give players more access to the super shot I\'ve sprinkled them around every level. This adds another little meta-challenge to see if you can collect them all for max score

I\'m listening intently to player feedback, so here is another little hotfix with more quality of life improvements...
Helped out pad players by adjusting the default stick dead zone and sensitivity.
Player hitbox at some points a little hard to see. Added an additional red glow:

- DNO Shot secondary sweep speed increased

Nothing like a day one patch! I had left in some test items on HARD MODE so I removed those. \n\nIf you find any other bugs or quirks let me know, I am also happy to make gameplay changes if you find anything troubling :D
