BABELOMANIA is a technogothic horror game, inspired by Japanese Adventure games but developed with an European point of view. Not only am I, the writer and director of the game (among the many other roles the quasi-solo dev life forces me to take) European born and raised, but so are the main concept artist -Halebob -, GUI artist -Skolaztika - and Composers - OddTillTheEnd and Nailik Noteworks -.
The story takes place in a bizarre estate in post-modern France, which main character Shigeo Arata travels to in hope of reconnecting with a childhood friend. The two drifted apart in the wake of tragedy, only for Shigeo to suddenly find himself invited to his friend\'s wedding...

Demo #01 contains the prologue and first chapter of the game. It will introduce you to the characters and setting, and jumpstart the scenario. You will familiarize with the game mechanics and gameplay loop, and get a first taste of how far the game can go in its depiction of horror. As the game is still in active development, the Demo is not intended to be fully representative of the final product.
BABELOMANIA is not for everyone. The disclaimer on the Store Page and contained in the game itself will be more explicative but, suffice to say, while there\'s an option to censor certain graphical elements the themes and events depicted in the story may not be stomachable to some.
