Mark of Cain
What FPS was meant to be: fast, brutal, and just a little bit cursed.
Mark of Cain is a retro-inspired 2.5D arena shooter in the blood-soaked spirit of Doom, Duke Nukem, and DUSK but with a twisted edge all its own.
Play as John Demonhunter, a demon-slaying Greek badass cursed by God Himself to suffer eternal life—and eternal combat.
After centuries of slaughter, John got cocky.
The big guy upstairs took offense and branded him with the Mark of Cain a glowing symbol of divine punishment that ensures he can never die… but also never rest. Now Devil, seeing a golden opportunity, unleashes wave after wave of hellspawn, meme-fueled bosses, and cursed chaos to make John's unkillable life a living nightmare.
Welcome to a world where every demon is an inside joke, every death is a punchline, and survival is just the setup for the next round of absurdity.
FEATURES
Classic Arena FPS Madness
5 weapon loadouts, secrets, blood and dopamine. Inspired by the best of the '90s but unshackled from nostalgia. Run, gun, bunny-hop, and blast through dense enemy waves in tight, explosive arenas.
Making Fun of The Whole Genre
Face off against bosses that mock modern gaming, from the Ad Boss who spams you with unskippable ads every time you get hit, to the Tiny Flea who exists solely to shove you off ledges while insulting your skill.
4 Player CO-OP
He is John Demonhunter, He is John Demonhunter, You are John Demonhunter, I'm John Demonhunter, are there any other John Demonhunters I should know about!?
Too Much For Zblock
Wall-jumps, air-dashes, slide-kicks, and zero mercy. Speed is survival. Master the movement system or get steamrolled.
No AAAAA BS
No battle passes. No season. No dlc.
Free rewards every week for the boys!
Cursed Humor. No Apologies.
Meta jokes, meme enemies, bizarre dialogue, and zero fourth wall. It’s a fever dream of classic FPS chaos with a knowing smirk and a middle finger raised skyward.
Fixed enemy clipping issue\nEnemies were able to get too close and become unhittable. They now remain properly stationary during attacks, preventing overlap and ensuring their hitboxes are reachable.
Improved ground movement\nMovement while ground felt too snappy. This has been smoothed out for better control and responsiveness.
Camera behavior fixed\nResolved an issue where the camera could rotate 360 in z axis and invert controls unintentionally.
Adjusted weapon damage\nWeapon damage values have been rebalanced to improve overall combat feel and consistency.
Thanks for all the feedback !
