An Action-Adventure Roleplaying Game Set in North Carolina's Distant Future
Run, jump, climb, explore, and battle through over 70 areas packed with action, adventure, and intrigue! Idosra: The Electric Renaissance is a hybrid platformer/roleplaying game set in a future world on the verge of rediscovering electricity.
It's election year in the Vallas Empire, and Marika finds herself in the crossfire between two opposing bodies. On one side is a government that is taking advantage of a recently rediscovered force of nature: electricity. On the other side is a faction that wants to seize control of this knowledge for itself.
The sea levels are falling and revealing ancient coastal cities. Rumor has it that these cities hold lost secrets to the generation of electricity. Electricity could be a great boon to the Vallan cities that rely solely on coal and gas. The lost "fire" can bring wealth and prosperity. It can also grant unimaginable power. The empire has shown an interest in researching and harnessing electricity, and the Vallan scholars are hard at work studying the ruins.
Marika has been tagged as an "enemy of the state". Does the empire suspect she has a power that even she herself isn't aware of? Or, is this a terrible mistake-the fault of the recently installed "eyes" and other newfound devices the empire has unearthed, but does not understand?
The answer lies in the ruins of an ancient city, known as "Idosra". If only Marika can find it before her aggressors. Step carefully! Marika's success lies is in her ability to learn how the new technology works-and the role it plays in the Vallas Empire's plans.

Season\'s Greetings from the Flying Wiener Dog Studio! Idosra Version 1.1.6 is now available and comes with a special surprise. Idosra brings back another staple of DOS-era gaming: The holiday special!
The special, \"Holiday Gauntlet\", is a short episode that is available to both players of the free demo version and the full commercial version. In the demo, this episode can be selected from the pre-loader screen. If you have purchased the full version of the game, you also have the special episode as a mod. Check the \"mods\" option from the pre-loader screen.
Can you clear the gauntlet in under 5 minutes? Step quickly, but carefully! This episode should be a good challenge for those who have completed all of the demo areas, or Chapter 1 in the full game.
In addition to the new episode, there are a number of bug fixes and updates in response to feedback left in the Community Hub. As usual, the full changelog follows:
