Warrens Of Random is a first-person horror game where you must escape 20 mazes
Random Spawns
There is a chance that you spawn in a random maze instead of the intended one (like Maze 7 instead of Maze 10). Those don't count either as a maze you survived, which means you may survive more than 20 times, but must complete all 20 mazes in order.
Challenge Yourself
Play in Normal mode, Hardcore mode, and Speedrunner mode
In Normal mode, you have 3 lives and can ping the exit every 5 minutes. This is so you can familiarize yourself with the mazes.
In Hardcore mode, you have 1 life and there's a higher chance of random spawns. You also can't ping either, so you better know the mazes by now if you play in Hardcore.
In Speedrunner mode, you have 1 life and no random spawns. Finish the game as fast as you can, otherwise you'll lose to someone who knows where you are 24/7
My horror game is now on Steam, and while it's available for wishlist, I'll show you my TODO list for Warrens Of Random:
Linux support
[/*]Steam Deck support
[/*]Steam achievements
[/*]Steam cloud
[/*]A better Hardcore and Speedrunner mode
[/*]
So far I have found a couple of issues for every build, and some for only Steam Deck and controllers
Every Build
You cannot load into the map
[/*]
Steam Deck
The UI is not correct because I forgot to change the size from 1920x1080 to 1280x800
[/*]In the general settings, you cannot change the mouse sensitivity because it won't gain focus
[/*]
Steam Deck & Controllers
In the video settings, 2 audio cues are played at the same time
[/*]
So this is already a great start, didn't even have to try, which makes me very excited to start working on my new game!
