Janky animations made by me
Major adjusments
Changed the cover it\'s sort of similar to the first one just that it has some enemies and the hue is different now.
Super easy & easy
When you fall into a once called insta death pit instead get insta teleported and just take 1 damage.
Super easy
Original 5 checkpoints bumped up to 7
New difficulty: god mode
For those who still think game is too difficult
You are immortal
Level completions in this mode don\'t submit to the leaderboards though
You can still get the achievements though
Consolidated every level leaderboard to just 1 time and 1 score
So the normal difficulty\'s leaderboard was kept all the other ones were deleted
Stutters and things
Reduction to first time hitches etc.
Think I fixed player getting fuzzy while moving
I Also just did an interview with Putachi about my game.
Originally I had it set to where if you loaded from the save it wouldn\'t commit your score and time to the leaderboard. it was mostly just so that one couldn\'t like keep loading the save to get a better time. but because there is barely anyone on the leaderboards it doesn\'t make much sense to have this feature. so it has been removed.
other bug fixes and things i found in my full playthrough video as well as leaderboard floodability
[/*]adjusted some of the bosses attacks there for the final boss mostly so that they are easier to dodge telegraphed etc.
[/*]
so we need more people to flood the leaderboards...
some assets got compressed making file size a lot smaller. changing the renderer also made the game faster but the particles are a bit different now.
If want to test the portmaster build i put it here on github. I tested it on muOS so far
I am in the middle of updating the game to improve the performance by switching the render and things like that but I have a post mortem as I was thinking on how I could do better and that I should probably try a completely different approach the next time around.
Feel like it was good learning experience despite being what most people would call a flop
[/*]
I did have some ideas for an extra level but now I think it\'s best to skip that and to move on

It\'s not the genre that I picked or anything like that it\'s simply my own fault for what I came up with.
I have to really rethink about what I did. I spent about 10 months working on this project and I feel like it\'s a improvement from the first game. I\'m starting to question if the way I think I\'m making a \"good\" game isn\'t really that good. I need to study more games and to really figure out what people actually like playing.
I also have to reconsider if people like playing games with minibosses and bosses in the format and style that I made them where it\'s a level with both of them in one level. Because that took a lot of time to make the levels themselves.
The main things that took time were making the various enemies, minibosses and bosses. And the hazard as well though those didn\'t take up that much time. It was a lot of work making sure that every enemy has a unique attack and that I have some like minibosses that will do an attack the boss will do variation of that attack but it\'s still different. I decided not to move the actual arena that much around though or anything and to keep it contained which seemed fine I wasn\'t really limited by what I could do within a set room.
There is also the basic dialogue and then going through and translating the game in 16 total languages. But that\'s not really that important.
Final thoughts
Maybe 7 levels is too many and if i just made it smaller game that was free it would have been better
Rethink about how I am spending time
If I should have skipped translating
If dialogue was needed
Rethink if game is priced too high
Overall more motivated than ever to try harder and to do better on my next project. I believe I can make something that more people would like to play but right now I\'m still unsure.
Released the game I am still looking for bugs and things like that but I\'ve done a few complete playthroughs and seems ok for now.
There is this one bug if you load in level 6 and then exit and load it in again the game might crash. haven\'t figured out how to fix that yet
[/*]
I made an android build of the game it says it need some more testers to pass to publishing phase. so basically you can play most of the game for free if you want but it's less optimal.
This current build if you try to play the level 7 though it will crash but i think i fixed that already.
[/*]I was testing on phone seemed fine but then i tested on a tablet and when the died once the whole game tanked in fps and doesn't go back up. not sure if that's an actual issue because i tested it out on a few phones and seemed fine but something i noticed.

It seems you have to input your email and then after i input that email it should be available here
so here's the form for the email
This is a quick update trying to refactor the menus they still the cursor focusing issue sometimes though but will get back to that later.
- as well there is leaderboard i added but needs some testing still. Using the demo to test it out for now. Also on the leaderboard there isn't any anti cheese so think you can just load a previous save and keep spamming the leaderboard if it's working. Ok i believe I fixed that now
- main things fixed are was trying to get the saving and loading functionality to work better and the refactoring of the menus
Released the rough demo for the game.
There are some known issues still for instance the mouse focusing and clicking in some menus.
As well the story is not thought out yet. I fixed most of the main issues I could think of regarding the basic navigation but let me know if there are any double click or other issues.
