Puzzle Depot has updated to v1.0.1!\n
New to this version is Steam Workshop support, meaning you can now easily share your own created levels with other players! There are even leaderboards for workshop levels for you competitive puzzlers!\n
To kick things off, we\'ve added a short n\' sweet level of our own to the workshop honoring Puzzle Depot\'s predecessor, Depot Dungeons. This is a quick jaunt through a fairly-faithful reproduction of the original Storage Bay Alpha from the original game. Head over to the Workshop to subscribe to this level, then find it under the Level Select option on Puzzle Depot\'s main menu.

Puzzle depot 1.0.1 Change log

[/*]Fix for a rare issue that prevented a large roach from spawning under very specific circumstances.\n

[/*]Fix for duplicate screenshots sometimes being taken in steam.\n
[/*]Minor increase in frequency of hazmat crew using their energy dome.\n

[/*]Minor fixes to story levels, mostly grammar/spelling corrections, and tidying up a couple uncommon soft locks that could happen.\n
[/*]
\nBe advised that if you load a save game created before this patch, you will still be playing the 1.0.0 version of that level. You\'ll need to restart the level completely to play the latest version of them.
Hello! We\'re making a quick patch here to fix an issue with the \'fewest moves\' counter on the level preview screen, which was preventing it from updating correctly when you set a new record.
Hey everyone! We\'re squeezing in a couple fixes and improvements, let us know if you run into any issues!\n\nNew feature:\n
- \n
- Cut scene Skip button! You can hold this button down to fast forward through almost all cut scenes in the game. Very convenient for follow up play throughs! This key can be configured in the options menu, and if you don\'t get a keybinding for it by default, you may have to manually assign a key. Most people should get a default key assigned.\n
- \n
- Quicksave hotkey changed to \'F5\'. Quickload remains bound to \'F8\'.\n
- Minor corrections to various datalog entries.\n
- Minor updates to levels 2 and 12. (Text/cosmetic fixes)\n
- \n
- Broken room in City Ruins has been fixed\n
- Fix for Depot Power Station that could result in music being stopped and not restarted.\n
- Fixed a rare crash that could happen related to the info cursor.\n
- Fixes for high scores. There was an issue with how we were storing high scores at the end of the level, this has required us to flag old scores as \'invalid\' these will still appear, but they\'ll be darker on the level preview screen. If you replay through the level, you\'ll replace the old score with a new one, even if the new score is lower. Sorry for the inconvenience here. This will not affect any of your challenge goal progress! It only affects the high scores shown in game for bragging rights.\n
Minor hotfix to get screenshots working in steam again!
We are pleased to announce that Puzzle Depot has released on Steam! It\'s very exciting to finally be able to share this game with everyone and we truly appreciate the support we\'ve received along the way. We hope you will enjoy your time with Puzzle Depot!\n\nPlease leave us a review once you\'ve had some time to get your push on and aren\'t currently being attacked by giant roaches!
Workshop Support On the Way
In the coming days one of the things we\'ll be working on is Steam Workshop support to allow player-created levels to be shared more easily. We\'re very much looking forward to (and terrified of) seeing what sort of nefarious puzzles our players will come up with!\n
Official Soundtrack DLC
In just a couple weeks the Puzzle Depot OST will be available for purchase! There were some last-minute additions to the soundtrack, so thank you for bearing with us while we get the final OST approved and ready for sale. There\'s some real bangers on here.
More Content! MORE!
Puzzle Depot v1.0 has been released into the world, but there\'s still more to come! We\'ll have plenty of post-launch support coming in the form of custom backer characters, additional levels, and other surprises in store for future updates!\n\n\nThank you everyone for the support, this is a huge milestone for us! Good luck in the Depot!

At long last, we have set a release date for Puzzle Depot! In a little less than a month, Puzzle Depot will launch on Steam and itch.io! We'll be doing some final tests with the beta over the next couple weeks and getting everything prepared for launch day. Please bear in mind, this date is somewhat contingent on some technical and business-related details completing without delays, but as of now things are looking good!
We hope you'll forgive us for not releasing in October as previously stated. That last week of the month was... not looking promising.
Call to Action: Additional Test Subjects Needed!
With launch looming, we would like to give the beta build as much testing as possible until the end of October. To that end, we are seeking additional testers with some time for puzzles this month to help us out! If you would like to participate, please drop us a message or join our Discord .
Where's the Shiny New Trailer?
We would have loved to wow everyone with an awesome new trailer in this update, but it's not quite finished, and we didn't want to delay the announcement any further. Sorry about that! In the meantime please enjoy these montages of gameplay from various levels:

As always, we greatly appreciate the support we've received throughout this project. It's been quite a journey, and we're very excited to finally share this game with all of you in November!
Announcement: New Release Date
As previously announced, our goal for Puzzle Depot was a late Q2 release, and unfortunately we have missed that window. Due to some unforeseen hurdles in Q2, we've decided to take just a little more time to put the polish on some remaining details and ensure the best experience we can at launch. We will have another good opportunity to release in October, so we are making that our new goal. This time frame will give our testers time to play through the finished version of the game and puts us in a position to provide better support during the crucial post-launch period.
In the meantime, we'll be crossing the last items off our list and preparing for launch. Here's the main tasks ahead of us:
- A final pass on a couple music assets (we squeezed in an extra track; it's a banger!)
- Adding some finishing details on the backer bonus level
- A final pass on dialogue and datalogs
- Tackling some important (but boring) business-related tasks
- Testing of the complete version of Puzzle Depot
- Production of launch trailer
We understand this type of announcement can be disappointing, but we wanted to be clear about where we're at in development. The finish line is truly in sight, and we're very appreciative of the incredible patience and support we've received along the way. It really makes a difference.
Thank you all once again for the understanding. We can't wait to share Puzzle Depot with you in October!
Puzzle Depot's free demo just got bigger! In celebration of Steam's Box-Pushing Fest we've unlocked an entire new level, the Great Alkali Basin!

For a limited time, encounter herds of massive millipedes, bubbling caustic lakes, mushroom-filled grottos, and even more in the expanded demo! Only the bravest explorers will uncover all of the Great Alkali Basin's mysteries.

Explore a variety of environments beyond the Union facility. The Basin's caverns are teeming with dangerous invasive species.

Ironpedes are a new creature that are quite common in the Basin's rocky cliffs, and many areas of the game beyond this one. Learning how they behave is key!

Discover new interactions with familiar objects. Wooden crates and barrels are great for forming bridges over the bubbling goop, but be wary of hungry termites.
This is a far more open-ended level than the familiar Storage Bay Alpha, and the optional goals are even trickier this time, so dig in while this level is available! (Oh, and because we were a little late with our announcements we're just gonna go ahead and leave it up for a good while after the event, until June 5th).
Happy pushing, and good luck in the Great Alkali Basin!
