Hello unepic players! A new awesome map created by Luminous has been included in the collection of official maps. As usual, it keeps a set of unique items. Besides, the following bugs have been fixed: - Game no longer crashes when menus or multiplayer menu are enabled when you die. - Pressing the shortcut key for the character page twice no longer bugs the menu - Toy hammer could not be recovered when dropped on the hero's home or the bank. Now it can't be dropped there. - "Vampire Hand" picture was wrong (it had an arrow) - The advanced editor no longer crashes when pressing '4' on the water section. - Horgan's Axe no longers disappears when you pick it up in the "Bax Simbel" official multiplayer map. - Sometimes you could not attack an invisible creature while seeing invisible. And a change has been done on an item that was too OP for being level 14: - "Ranged Anger" was too over for being a level 14 bow. dam reduced from 260 to 150, and changed "acid" by "poison". Dear players, I have included a new option in "OPTIONS > GAMEPLAY" called "Show DPS". By enabling it, you can see the damage per second you deal while fighting. It is shown just bellow your character level in the top UI. This is not available in Linux/Mac, neither when playing as a guest in a multiplayer game. fran

Ladies & Gentlement, abemus mappam (said in other words, we have a new map). The architect LineFall is bringing us a new map called "The Final Battle" for level 20 players, that hides unique items that will boost the usage of polearms. Have fun!

Hello everyone. In the last months we've been working in portings of Unepic for XBOX, PS4 and VITA. As we are using the same source code than PC, I could not upload anything until all portings were made. But now that they're finished I have uploaded a new patch with two new maps taken from Workshop: "Was is coming" and "The Wizard's Basement". They include new unique weapons and equipment chosen by their architects... may they be overpowered? Due to changes in the source code for portings, glitches could appear. But I'll fix as soon as I find it out. In fact I already fixed a couple of them. :-/ Thanks for understanding. Oh, one last thing. Another reason for not uploading own content is that I'm working in a new videogame that is keeping me very busy. A sci-fi one... I'm doing my best.

Hello everyone! I have just released the Mac version of Unepic. It includes all features that the Windows version has, and multiplayer is cross-platform: Mac users can play multiplayer together with Windows users.
Halloween is back again, and also the special levels and items of the season. Let me remind you that there are 5 extra rooms at the end of the five first multiplayer maps of the game. All have special halloween items waiting for you... if you survive.. BWA HA HAAA!!! - dungeon of satyrs: bouncing pumpkins - search of magic: wand of trick or treat - exploring a hole: skeleton costume - night of the tryfids: lighting pumpkin - sherwood graveyard: skull ring BEFORE YOU PLAY: all items but bouncing pumpkins are UNIQUE. This means that they won't appear if you already own them. Check that you don't have them already in your inventory or at home before you play.

It's just a bunch of bugs fixed: - fixed: Bonus speed for weapons have been fixed (the calculation was wrong). - fixed: "Lifesteal" weapons only absorbs HP of monsters when killed with the weapon, not magic. - fixed (MP): Extra Skill Points can't be set any longer in laggy servers. - fixed: mines and web traps created by player no longer counts as an enemy for appearing ladders/doors/platforms - fixed: Battle Cry and Move Out were not applied to allies. - fixed (MP): "destroy barrels" scroll did not work in all types of barrels. - fixed (EDITOR): creatures set to "big" or "small" were not saved. - fixed (MP): Items no longer appear duplicated in non-cooperative mp dungeons. - fixed (EDITOR): Weapon choice for creatures is now working ok. - fixed (EDITOR): Heal spells given to mobs were not applied in their allies. - fixed: "spawn: max number on screen" not working when mob was ally. - fixed: "Robes skill" could not be increased when "Armor Skill" was set to the maximum. - fixed: "cheating scrolls" in PVP are working again. - changed (MP): Blessed armor of Raak reduced slowness from 50 to 40. - changed: Increased attack resist from 1 to 2 in concentration robes level 11. - changed: Increased divine favours from 1 to 2 in White robes level 11. - changed: extra damage given by rings x2. - changed: "Ring of the Knight" critical redced from 5 to 4. Hello everyone! Everything has been already finished and included in Unepic and it's no longer in Early Access. It's been a year of changes and new stuff: improvements in dungeon editor, a new mob and boss editor, steam workshop, weapon skills, network changes and improvements and much more. I just had a look to the Steam records and I have uploaded 346 versions since Unepic was published. The average is around 1 version per day (most were in test versions for testers and architects). Thanks a lot to everyone who has participated in the Early Access version and for the patience they had, and specially to the testers, architects and Jacklifear, the community manager. Unepic will be still updated with new official maps, updates in translations and fixed bugs that could appear.

Now you can upload your maps directly to Steam Workshop, and share them with the rest of the community receiving feedback.
As first example I created "the maze of Harnakon", a version of the game Unepic is based in (the maze of Galious from Konami 1987).
What's new 2: Decorate your dungeons.
I have opened the editor I used to decorate maps. By pressing E while editing you'll have access to it.
Also water and ropes are accesible.
What's new 3: Anti-cheat
I did a new step to prevent people cheating in multiplayer, so now "illegal items" are detected. Now it is in test mode, so if an item is attempted to be changed a message will appear. If you see this message and you did not tried to cheat, then it could be a false positive, so let me know to fix it.
What's new 4: New official dungeon
A new dungeon called "Scabb Dungeon" arrives from France, done by Corentin Brûlé. It is so big that he had to split it in 3 pieces.
The map is funny and diverse, full of puzzles and action. For those who owns them, a few new unique items are waiting.

Moreover, the "decorate your map" tool is also in the final stage and just need some documentation. So guys, still working hard to have Unepic finished and leave "Early Access" this summer. Hello Unepic players, I've been working in a set of helps/improvements to play in multiplayer: If you look for people to play with, no more automatic search is used. Now you will see a list of available groups and you can select the one you prefer. The creator of the group can write a short description of what they need to help in the selection. You will also see in the list of groups what map are they playing. To fight the "ninja" problem, a copy of each uncommon loot is created and bound to each player. Uncommon items are unic items, spellbooks, armors, green/blue weapons and statues. Also, when picking up gold, the whole team will receive the same gold. We have a new map from Juan Barbosa: "Vini Vidi Vici" for 1 or 2 players. In parallel, the editor is being improved with custom IA and graphics for bosses, so in next maps you will fight original bosses created by architects.

Hello Unepic Players, We're working hard in the level editor in order to let architects custommize their own monsters and bosses, including a new AI system (so each boss will behave different). There are a bunch of maps nearly finished, so I hope we can have them soon. In the meanwhile there's been a few changes and fixes in the game: - new (SP): included "man","zeke" and "kroom" avatars. - new (SP): Russian is added as lanuage in the +12 mode. - new: If you summon a mob and, due to exceeding the maximum number of mobs, another mob in the room is killed, the word "replaced" appears. - new: included list of languages in the +12/+16 screen. - new: inculded "swears" and "sex" icons in the +12/+16 screen. - fixed: dialog no longer get stuck if you press ESC continuously. - fixed: Gadzan no longer paralyzes ice blocks (they won't run away) - fixed (SP): Now spells are assigned by default to shortcuts of gamepad in the final battle. - fixed (MP coop): Removed the "laboratory key" from "monteorc" scenario. - fixed (MP contest): you no longer can capture your own flag. - changed (MP contest): time to capture flag is now 3 seconds (instead of 10 seconds).
Hey Unepic players! If you own both Unepic and Syder Arcade on Steam there's a special bonus! Having Syder Arcade you will find a new pet in Gualix's shop (the guy who sells items in exchange of Unepic Credits), a tiny space vessel. On the other side, if you play Syder Arcade, Unepic will transform some of your Syder Arcade pods (both drones and overseer wraiths) into cute, pixelated Baby Dragons. Outch! Merry Christmas!! This new patch offers (during these days) a new snowy room at the end of the "Dungeon of Satyrs" with two "friendy" snowmen that will give you a random treasure. If you're lucky (20% chance) they can give you the "Santa's Clothes", an unique armor for all levels that increases your frost protection and spells. It includes a false beard and red hat. :-) Oh, if you don't have a mental mage with you in the group with the telekinesis spell, you'd better purchase one in the "mental vendor", you'll need one.
