The Cooking Club Demo Beta Patch Notes

Hello chefs! Weve been back in the kitchen fixing up a few issues that slipped through last time. Thank you all for your patience and feedbackit really helps us polish things up! Heres whats cooking in this update:

Grammar & Text Fixes: Cleaned up a handful of small grammatical errors left in the code that managed to sneak past our beta testers.

Spider Akemi (Sprite Bug): Fixed Akemis sprite sometimes still appearing behind her, which caused her to look like she had four arms. Sadly, Akemi is not a secret spider-chef so that bug has been squashed!

Music Level Adjustments: Attempted a fix on the games music balancing. For now, we recommend that all players set the in-game music to about halfway on the slider for the best experience.

Credits Not Rolling: Fixed a bug where the credits sometimes refused to play. They should now roll properly at the end so everyone who contributed gets their moment to shine!

Game Not Opening: Fixed an issue where the application occasionally wouldnt open at all. Launching should now be smooth and reliable.

Poor Route Fix: Corrected a bug in the Poor cooking route where Akemis sprite wouldnt disappear and she would awkwardly remain on screen. She should now exit properly when shes supposed to.

This demo is your first real taste of the chaos in The Cooking Club. Youll get to step into the kitchen, meet some of the cast, and put your skills (and patience!) to the test. Its a small slice of whats to come but we think youll love it.

Originally, we aimed for a 6th October 2025 release, but due to Steams requirement that demos are available by the 3rd, weve decided to move things forward.

Check Out The Cooking Club's New Redesign!

Hey Chefs!

We've been busy cooking up a storm over here for The Cooking Club and preparing a wave wave of awesome stuff to show you all.. and we can finally begin doing that! Last night on the 18th of September 2025, we hosted New Game+ 2025 which is our in house game studio showcase! We had guests like Blue Tango Street.. Studio Maroo.. and even twitch streamer and affiliate Clunia join us!
