Dynamic dialogue
Modular dialogue based on the group you pick, the locations you go to, and many other variables, makes sure no two runs are ever the same!

We look forward to having you join us next week.
Yours sincerely,
Jean, President of the Crafting Club 💋
Other Features:
Alternate fonts for better legibility
Re-read dialogue any time with the history
Skipping for any text you've already read
Hey gang, this patch brings a few fixes needed for Steam Deck verification, mainly, bigger text in the history menu for visibility on smaller screens!
A few minor spelling mistakes some players have reported have also been fixed!
Some players have also reported getting the bad ending for Wally even if they gave good answers... and you'll find that Wally has always worked a little... differently than the other characters.
Don't push him too much on his secrets, that's all I'll say :)
Thank you for the continued support for Love Craft, I hope you guys keep loving the game!
Alright gang, it's here!
For anyone who's been asking so far, the native Linux version of Love Craft is now available!
This also means that the game is fully compatible with Steam deck.
Also, Cloud Saves are working perfectly not only on Linux, but across operating systems, which means full cross-platform Cloud Saves are now operational!
To be able to do this I've had to download Linux for the first time, which let me tell you, not that intuitive at first lol.
If you encounter any weird glitches in the Linux version, let me know through the in-game bug report button, and I'll get to them as soon as I can!
There's also a few small fixes for all versions:
Fixed some misspelled words in the script
[/*]Changed the game's desktop icon for macOS to be more in line with the style of mac icons.
[/*]
Thank you all for the continued support!
Due to some issues detected by some users (thanks Itzar on Discord!), I found an issue with character portrait files being way bigger than they needed to be in the final build, which would have a large impact on VRAM while they were loaded in memory.
This update fixes the issue, and reduces the impact by 4 times the amount, my bad lol
If someone was having issues with the game crashing during the initial loading screen, this should fix it!
Hey everyone! Due to popular demand I've invested some time into putting together a macOS build for Love Craft... and it was surprisingly pretty quick!
Everything should be fully functional, including stuff like Cloud Saves, but building for macOS is COMPLETELY new to me, so if you encounter any weird glitches let me know through the in-game bug report button, and I'll get to them as soon as possible!
Huge thanks to my editor Fredward who actually owns a Mac and helped me compile the export templates for Godot!
I've been looking into native Linux support as well, and I'll see if I can get that done as soon as I can get a Linux Virtual Machine working for the first time lol - Until then you should be able to play through Proton, but I'm 90% sure Cloud Saves aren't going to properly work until an official version is released.
Also, a couple of small fixes for all versions:
Fixed some characters just calling some people "Player" during certain dialogue, my bad Larry lol
[/*]Fixed Bryan soft locking the game and sending the player to the shadow realm for all eternity after his dialogue on day5
[/*]
Thank you so much for your support everyone!
This is my first commercial game, and I couldn't be more proud that it's finally out!
A HUUUGE thank you goes to:
- My girlfriend Roberta, who wrote most of the dialogue, and helped keep me sane during development.
- My awesome artist friend Tanupoki, who took care of all the character art.
- My best friend and roommate Paolo for always supporting me, and keeping the house livable while I was fixing bugs at 6AM!
If you're interested, the game's entire development process is showcased in this video!
I hope you enjoy Love Craft!
