LOTS of changes and fixes with this one, including the overhaul to try and balance the Drachma system better.

Major Changes

  • Drachmas are now earned on a multiplying scale after all upgrades have been unlocked.
  • The 16 new stickers now actually have their unlock status save. (Can't BELIEVE I didn't catch that one earlier. steamfacepalm)
  • Reset achievement values have been reduced from 1-10-25 to 1-5-10.
  • Tooltip describing how Drachmas work appears when hovering over the reset button or large Drachma icons in the UI.

Minor Changes
  • Car and truck now have visible seats.
  • Dolly cart and car wheels are more centered.
  • The sun reflection now stays on the water layer in Asphodel theme.
  • The click counter will now first appear after 100 total clicks.

Working on an overhaul to balance out the Drachma system again. In the meantime, here are some smaller fixes and tweaks.

  • Finally fixed the ground reset threshold!
  • There is now a visual "click counter" in the bottom right of the main UI.
  • Click count now saves progress.
  • Speed cap on visuals now applies backwards as well.
  • Values in the upgrade shop now round the same way your money in the main UI does.

Sticker Update! v1.1.0

Finished this major update far sooner than expected! Decided to push it as soon as possible before I devote my weekend to playing Silksong lol.


Major Changes

  • 16 new stickers!
  • Stickers now have rotation and scaling options!
  • Added an "undo" button next to the "delete all" button in the sticker UI.
  • The first 4 stickers are now free in the reset sticker unlocks menu.

Minor Changes
  • The "undo" button in the sticker menu is now the only one with the dotted arrow icon. All closing menu buttons now say "back" or "return" to avoid confusion.
  • Further tweaking of values for the ground reset threshold.

Update Roadmap / Future Plans

Alrighty! Time to crack down on fixes and polishing for the next several weeks (potentially months).

First and foremost, I will be working on balancing and bug fixes. Bug fixes will be prioritized, though I don't believe there will be as many bugs as balance fixes. Currently, I am trying to pace out the Drachma earning, purchases and reset system so that it just feels more satisfying, especially in the late game.

Sisyphus Simulator OUT NOW!

Sisyphus Simulator is now available for PC! Get it while the 15% release discount lasts!

(Disclaimer: The trailer states that music is not in the final product. This was before I anticipated getting the music player to work in time. The game WILL, in fact, have music on release. 5 royalty-free tracks worth!)

I am so grateful to all the loving friends and family who have supported me in starting my development journey.

And especially to Valve for how intuitive and accessible the platform that Steam is so that myself and so many others can start the ground running.

I'll be posting an update roadmap, patches, balancing, and be keeping an eye out for reported bugs starting Sunday 8/31. For most of the weekend though, I will be simply celebrating!
