It's here! The extended demo for Snow White Ashes is now playable!


Delve back into the woods with this hefty update that includes an extra 15k words, tons of new artwork, new revelations and new mysteries...

Note: Old save files should still work, but I'd recommend starting a new one just to be safe (and to see the updated CGs!)

Some earlier text has also been updated to offer more hints to the Hunter (and the MC's) true identities.

Please note that this update begins to delve into some of the darker parts of the story. A content warning will appear on screen when starting the game. A more detailed list can be found on my website.

The updated demo will have over 20k words of content, updated artwork, brand new CGs and illustrations and three unlockable bonus scenes.

I'm working hard to finish up the last few pieces and can't wait for you to see it!

As mentioned before, Snow White Ashes is a dark fantasy, and the story from where the teaser left off will explore some darker topics (especially around toxic relationships) as well as themes of:


(There are no jump scares however and the game as a whole is not meant to be a scary experience.)

A detailed content warning will go up when the demo is live.


Finally, the game will of course have new music tracks! Here's a preview of one:

Hello! I hope you've been well!

I'm just popping in with a quick progress update on the extended demo. Currently all the music and writing is finished; I'm now busy with the art, sound and coding.

Along with several new CGs, I'm also reworking some of the old CGs and backgrounds to look more cohesive and polished. Because the original demo was made in <1 month for a jam, I had to leave some of the current artwork on the rougher side.

A Summer Spell of Magic & Mystery

First of all: Thank you all for helping Snow White Ashes reach 400 wishlists! I'm excited to share more of this story with you and hope that you've enjoyed what it has to offer so far.

I'm happy to announce that the free demo will get a major content update this summer. This update will add 14k words to the current story, bringing the demo to over 20k words. I'm currently coding and creating the artwork, and aiming to release it in early June.

Please note that from this point onward the story will deal with some darker topics, especially around abusive/unhealthy relationships. A full content warning list will be updated when the extended demo releases.
