Surface Breaker is a Sci-fi rogue-like mining/tower defense game.
Crash landing on an abandoned planet in search of ancient artifacts, you are attacked by waves of alien monsters. Mine minerals and discover powerful gadgets to defend your spaceship while you slowly discover how to obtain the artifact.

Mine for minerals, oil and crystals in a procedurally generated world.
Defend Your Dome
Every so often a wave of monsters will appear and try to destroy your space ship.
Use the space ships cannon to destroy them before they destroy your way back home.
Acquire Unique Gadgets each run
Unique skills can be found each run to help improve your mining and combat ability.
Upgrade yourself and your gadgets
A large upgrade tree is available for you to spend your resources.
Improve your mining ability or combat ability.
Below are the changes that impacts the Demo Version of Surface Breaker.
Visual Changes
A new VHS styled shader has been added to give off a better retro feel. You can adjust the severity of this in the options menu.
Dome Slot Changes.
There are now dedicated Dome Slots for Combat and Econ.
Once you have a total of 4 dome slots you can now increase your total amount of dome slots.
You can also unlock blueprints for secret upgrades. Each upgrade path has it\'s own secret upgrade.
New Combat Dome Slots
Turret - Place down a turret that will shoot enemies.
Oil Pit - Place down an oil pit that will slow down enemies that run over it.
Hard Dome - Increases the health of your Dome by 100.
All 3 have unique upgrade paths.
New oddities
Fire Punch Shrine - Next Punch Sets trees on fire
Speed Shrine - Increases player speed by 100% for 10 seconds
Oil Dispenser - Converts 2 minerals into 1 oil
Shrink Spire - Shocks resources to make them 30% smaller
Quality of Life
The Artifact building will now flash when you destroy a Void Crystal
The Artifact building will now display how many void crystals are left
The Artifact buildings signals to the Void Crystals last longer
Oddities are more likely to spawn closer to the center
