The tension is ramping up in Wargame Red Dragon! The latest game in the spectacular RTS series created by developers Eugen Systems can today reveal the very first teaser video that takes us to the heart of Asia and the scenes of the next clashes of Wargame.
The NATO and Pact armies and their allies finally deploy in Asia. This first Red Dragon video gives us a taste of the strategic and pyrotechnical delights in store for you in this new Wargame title, which takes place at the start of a new major armed conflict. You can look forward to new factions, new units and combat vehicles (for a total of over 1,300!) and, in particular, the introduction of naval units: the landing craft, amphibian vehicles and warships will thrill fans of complex strategies, who will now be able to include the waterways as an integral part of their tactics!
>> Watch the Video <<
More ambitious than Wargame AirLand Battle, Wargame Red Dragon essentially retains the same game mechanics that made the series so successful, but the action leaves Europe for the first time and shifts to a conflict in central Asia between 1975 and 1991, and adding loads of new features. 5 new nations, among which China and North Korea, join the armed forces in Wargame with over 450 new units. The introduction of naval and amphibian units is a particular highlight, and the maritime and river areas provide fresh strategic opportunities! A new solo campaign plunges players headlong into a hellish war around Korea, while Wargame's extensive, road-tested multiplayer mode will engage them in some intense and spectacular battles with up to 20 other players simultaneously!

The development of Wargame Red Dragon is going full steam ahead, but that doesn't mean the teams at Eugen Systems have forgotten the Wargame AirLand Battle players! After Vox Populi, the first AirLand Battle DLC released several months ago, Eugen Systems now offer players Magna Carta, the second DLC which is equally rich and exciting. Like the first DLC, Magna Carta is entirely free, so Wargame AirLand Battle gamers will find their game has been automatically updated with the new content next time they launch it. Besides the addition of 12 new units (one per nation), the Magna Carta DLC focuses mainly on new large-scale multiplayer maps. Wargame AirLand Battle therefore has 7 new maps: Gjöll and Ásgard, 2 totally new maps specifically designed for the massive battles with 20 players, and 4 new additional maps for 1 vs 1 up to 3 vs 3 players: Oslo, Orkolsvik, Karlstad and Aarhus that can all be played in the Conquest and Destruction modes. Finally, those nostalgic for the first Wargame will welcome the arrival of Three Miles Island, one of the most popular multiplayer maps in European Escalation, which is now playable in AirLand Battle in both Conquest and Destruction modes! This free DLC, and the huge balancing update of the 870 units in the game implemented a few days ago, are great reasons for immersing yourself in the battle again or, for any gamers who haven't yet done so, to finally join the battle! http://store.steampowered.com/app/260850/

This patch should fix the replay and save game issues. Saves and replay made BEFORE the “mother of all patches” should work fine as before now, although any save & replay made during the last 48H, since the last patch, won’t work anymore.
New patch released today. Log being too long, here are the patch main orientations:
Level design changes (sector, spawn points, air corridor, ...) on several maps, with a focus on 3v3/4v4, in order to: - fix some that might have been unbalanced. - favor manoeuver over spam.

Tanks accuracy scaling came from a time (EE) were ranges were the same for all tanks. With the so-called "heavies" now outranging their lesser brethen, lower ACC was "double penalty" for the latter. Hence we've decided to drastically buff some accuracies: the lesser range, the bigger the buff. By now, from memory, there must not be a tank below ACC 5, and 7 or 8 is the average. Which means that two variants with different ranges may have the same accuracy.

Read more about that here about infantry weapons and speeds. On the same basis, recon infantry was also reorganized and standardized: although they are always one step faster than their infantry counterparts, recons' quality can easily be spotted as: - line recon are 5-men strong with now MG. - shock recon are 5-men strong with a MG or sniper rifle. - SF recon are 10-men strong with three wepons slots. - SF snipers are 2-men strong ... but with a buff that compensate for that weakness. ;)

Supply vehicles (both land or helo) have been standardized to bring a same amount of supply per card. Besides, FOBs have been made more appealing, while supply vehiles are more scarce. This was meant to make the latter less "one-shot": more supply in the FOB but less supply vehicles per cards mean that one shall be more inclined to spare its suplly vehicle and therefore create a real supply line instead of just calling new supply trucks as reinforcements and let them be once empty ...
Also: - buffing flamethrower infantry. - rebalancing nations according to community feedback and taking into account extra-units added after release. - giving IFV more appeal. - ... Detailed log is available on the official forum, here: http://www.wargame-ee.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=36838
