The Gameplay / Ball Overhaul

Im not afraid to admit that the moment to moment gameplay can be tedious in 0.4. And Demo 2.0. Sure crafting a line of Arrow blotters is nice, but if it takes you 10 rounds of contemplative planning to get there what\'s the point? To address this, Ive made some rather sweeping changes to the gameplay, resulting in a much more unpredictable and chaotic experience. These things always seem stable on my end before I like to release to you all, but theres just so much stuff cram packed in this update that I dont even know if there are any bugs I have yet to see, but it all seems clean so far! Ill be looking towards gameplay from testers and demo lovers to get ideas on how to balance all of this, so please share feedback with me on these new systems after youve given them a fair shot! Although I dont think any amount of OP balls are going to save you from the fury of FEVER 10...\n

  • PLACING INDIVIDUAL BALLS [u]NO LONGER GRANTS SCORE.[/u] To score, you must now get a bingo, passive item, or blotter effect. Dont worry, it will be happening a lot more often.\n

Forgetting a ball will reroll its attributes, with a chance at generating it as a special/effect blotter. Forgetting costs $1 the first time, increasing on a curve with every forget used in a round.

  • Added a free blotter selection menu, which will grant a free blotter when you enter the shop after completing every round. Thats 26 free blotters just from consolation prizes alone!

Steam Next Fest + 3.0 Demo Update

Bingo Betty was recently accepted as a participant in this upcoming Next Fest in late February! To commemorate all of my new (hopefully) fans, Id like to expand a bit on the content offered in the demo, while simultaneously bringing all of these sweet juicy gameplay updates to it as well! The 3.0 update of the demo brings all of the updates seen above as well as unlocking an additional character besides Betty to play as! Update and play with your shiny new gold meat balls now!

Whats next for Betty?

I will continue to lurk around and stalk everyone playing this game on the internet (JK, or am I?) for feedback, bugs, and suggestions. If you want to stay on top of all my worst memes and dev posts, be sure to join the official discord! The next update will focus on polishing up those sweet new balls and fixing any (hopefully not a lot) of bugs from these new gameplay enhancements. I\'d like to do some cool animated effects and fancy sound effects for some of the more exciting balls, but it may take me some time to really hone those in how I\'m envisioning them. Hey there everyone, First i\'d like to give a huge thanks to Vinesauce for streaming my game, what an absolutely unreal experience! To any of you who have found my game recently, thank you for taking the time to look at my game and (hopefully) play the demo!

BIG Gameplay Updates are in the oven

I\'d like to announce that I am still plugging away behind the scenes to make this game one for the scrapbook! Right now I think I\'d like to address some of the BIG gameplay changes coming to bingo betty in the near future.\n\n1. I will be adding a feature that will allow you to \"Hold\" a ball between draws and rounds. This will still consume a draw, but now you can hold on to that sweet bomb ball for later. Wait, what\'s a bomb ball?\n\n2. I will be adding a feature that will allow you to \"Forget\" a ball for a cost. This will allow you to reroll that terrible 2 red triangle into something more juicy like a... meat? ball, huh?\n\n3. I will be adding a feature that will reward a free blotter of your choice after every round! Now you can tell that pesky shopkeeper what for and save your cash for that sweet superscooter you\'ve been wanting\n\n4. I will be adding SPECIAL BALLS which will have various properties. Be ready for things like the \"shuffle ball\" which randomizes your whole card, or the \"bomb ball\" which places random balls in a Plus pattern, and many more! These exciting new balls will be able to appear any time you draw a ball, so you never know what wacky ball you\'ll get next!\n \n5. I will be REMOVING score from placing balls individually. No more eking out a win with a quick 100 drop. To compensate, bingos will be granted additional score multipliers ON TOP of the set bonus. Juice those mega bingos for an even FATTER multiplier!

Hello everyone, I hope you\'re ready for an exciting new year! As a thanks for all of my players (and potential players) I have a brand new update hot out of betty\'s oven for you, and this one won\'t need to cool on the windowsill! Still, feel free to float on over to it.\n\nThis update focuses on some much needed QoL adjustments, such as speeding up animations and adding an ACTUAL tutorial! That\'s right, the big, ugly, bulky, How to Play menu is gone! Rest in pieces!\n\nAlso, Big updates have come to the demo! Many of the QoL changes enjoyed over the past few patches of the main game have been ported into the demo, including the tutorial, and additional options!
