Hi everybody!
Over the last few weeks, we have been getting some reports from people that are experiencing problems with different screen resolutions and/or blackscreens on startup on PC and MAC. We have looked into this and found that while we cannot really pinpoint what the problem in each individual case is, we of course want every customer to be able to play the game. So what have we done? With the recent patch (as of today) every PC and MAC customer will get a small resolution menu BEFORE the game even starts (actually it is just the normal Unity selector we re-implemented). This way, you can figure out which resolution works best for you. It would be cool if any of you that had experienced problems before could give us feedback if this helped in any way. Oh in case you are wondering: Unity does not support this startup resolution menu on LINUX as of yet so that is why this is only available on PC and MAC. Once Unity supports it, we will of course patch that for Linux as well.
Many greetings and have a great weekend!
